Another wonderful ending. Damn Logan and his thickheaded and wanderlust. Things looked kinda iffy for a bit there, after he finally returns. But its all self inflicted so he deserved to squirm a bit.
Like your take on the Jean/Logan issue, I definitely felt it was more of a lust/competition with Scott thing, than anything else. Description of the dress is hilarious, the fact that a dress could cover her up so much, the clashing colors, and the line about not even the dress could hide her beauty, that has to be my favorite.
Loving these short stories you've wrote recently.
Author's Response: Thanks. Logan deserved a little bit of uncertainty for being a dunderhead.
The movies certainly didn't make Logan's 'love' come through very convincingly. Some of those Mardi Gras dresses are beyond description, so I wanted Logan to have the same experience but with Rogue shining through.

Woo for reunion sex in the danger room, hehe. Incredible, despite some slight anxiety over remy and rogue at the beginning. This was one hell of an enjoyable story, and I'll be hopping up and down until your next fic (I'm greedy, what can I say?)

If life will quit conspiring against me, I should have a enough stories to post on a regular basis for sometime to come. *crosses fingers*

Wow wonderful chapter! I think I just met my weekly recommend limit of sugar intake. Not that I follow said recommendation.
Enjoyed this very much loved the understanding that Marie offers Logan. Their connection with each other is very palpable. This reminds me of old war movies, the night before, where the wife is seeing her husband off to war . The love, the longing, the reluctance, just a wonderful piece over all, oh and um very hot.
Looking forward to seeing Logan's homecoming.
