This is such a depressingly sad, crushingly brutal story of Logan's bleak final days . . . pretty much like the movie, "Logan", itself. Love/hate just about sums it all up perfectly. But what a lovely memory to bring him some shread of comfort in his current horrible, mundane reality.

You and englishmajor226 have a real lock on wringing riveting Logan/Marie stories that are original and gut-true from Jackman's final movie turn as my beloved Wolverine.
