The pacing and emotional interaction with these two is slow and steady...like the sex. I would ask for more to this story, but whether you continue it or not, you've left it in a good place. Comfortable with where they are.

One question - when Marie was tending to the body of Jean Grey, why no observation from her on the three distinctive wounds that killed the doctor? I would think that Marie would have had some reaction to that. Just a thought.

Author's Response: First, thank you for the comment. Second, the site ate my first longwinded comment. Anyway, there is another chapter in the works, I guess I wasn't quite done with this one. Great question. Looking at my notes, in trying to keep with the novelization, I focused on Rogue moving forward and glossed over the past. In retrospect her observations could have been drawn out more.

Excellent for being a bit... reserved with emotions, as compared to sappy. Made it feel more real. :)
