Ohhhhh, that was GREAT! You MUST write a sequel! Logan and Marie in a LINGERIE STORE! The possibilities are ENDLESS!
A totally fun and sweet fic. Just lovely. Great job!
And just WHERE has this sweet little gem been hiding??? HOW ON EARTH could I have missed it!?!?
I've got ONE word here... SEQUEL!!!
Author's Response: I never intended this to have a sequel, but I have certainly had enough requests for one! So, it make me think on the possibilities. I'm knee-deep in another Poison-esque, lengthy, multi-chapter beastie, so maybe after that one has been beaten into submission.rnrnI think Beer ala Mode was about the 3rd Rogan story I'd written. Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it.
god, i wish i had some ice cream in the house...and a boyfriend!!!!
Dialogue was wonderful (Rogue Logan and Wolverine)- you really did have some cracking lines in this fic. Great flirtationess (I don't even think that's a word but you know what I mean!!) well done x
Hehe, beer a la mode--awesome story!
There were so many good parts :D Cheif among them were these:
" ‘Other’ times?” She saw the thoughts flicker through behind his eyes, then with a tilt of his head, his nostrils flared, and Marie felt her cheeks burn a deep blush.
“Ahhh, I get it. The spilled beer was masking the scent.”
“Oh, Gawd! You mean you can smell THAT?!?”
“Hell yeah. It’s... uh... intriguing,” his smile was somewhere between wicked and lecherous. "
Lol I love that line: 'It's...uh...intriguing' lol I can so picture him saying that.
And of course:
" “And no, in case you’re wondering; I wasn’t playin’ around.” She turned again quickly and ran up the steps before he could respond, saving them any further awkwardness.
Watching her go, Logan slid his fingers into his pockets and waited until she was out of earshot.
“I know, baby; I wasn’t playin’ around either.” "
So sweet. Keep up the great work! I'm really enjoying your stories.
That's a lovely one! Yayy for the perfectionist!
Perfect balance of foof, romance, UST, and both their voices (plus the Wolverine) work really well. You paint the late-night scenes so carefully, and they instantly get busy producing a mental image.
Just sometimes perhaps a little verbose - not much, only one adjective too much or so, like that.
Great how their familiarity works here - lovely!
Awww me really likey!
