Whoa! Really dark there, ara. Interesting take on the Wolverine/Logan pair. Never thought to consider that the two halves of the whole might not be able to stand each other. Really puts Rogue's mutation right on the spot. Logan will always want to protect and heal her, but this business with Wolverine tagging along with the healing really makes for a problem! Neat point of view! I liked it.

Gah! Intense images. Not knowing whether he survived or not is frustrating, but the power of the images (him sliding forward on her claws) makes it okay to 'not' know for sure.

Author's Response: This is one of those pieces where I wanted to leave all options open for reader to decide what happened. Sometimes it's nicer that way. And It would have been quite hard to write clear ending to this one anyway.
