The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
This was an amazing series! Written beautifully and it was hard to stop reading once i started! Definately going into my favourites and its going to be one fic that i read over and over again :) thanks for sharing!
that was a very good dark xavier. i enjoyed your story
loved everything about this series from the story itself to the clever use of the cards/titles along the way. Love to see the Prof and Xmen not quite as they seem and Logan with Patience for revenge! Fantastic description as always giving perfect imagery for the reader. x
Glorious journey through the Major Arcana. I still think this is one of the most brillant themes for a Rogan fic that I've seen, and I applaud your creativity as well as your word-craft.
There must be something powerful about writing a story on a Sabbat - 'The Sun' on the summer solstice - brilliant! And that cunning thinking showed in this story - this is probably the most power-packed chapter yet. Cheers!
I have been keeping up with this story line and I have to tell you I've loved every minute of it.
Wow, I'm practically speechless, Jo. It all went down so easily, so smoothly, it's almost anti-climatic that they barely even saw it coming. Oh, I get it, that Xavier had all of his sins, and then some, visited back on him. But he was barely given time to even suffer through them; to really /feel/ what he'd done to those that could have been his *children*, his students, his TEAM! The quick, almost compassionate, way in which Marie did him in was really too good for him!
Damn you! How you manage to get me so wrapped up in these worlds you create with words!! I *LIKE* Xavier's character! But then you turn him into a first class (insert loathsome epithet here), and I can't help but follow you, Logan, Marie - the whole troop - down into battle!!
Hurrah, my dear, hurrah!
So sad. Poor, poor Jubes. Sacrificed by her "friends", abandoned by her "love", lied to by her father figure; it's no wonder she's dancing on the edge of sanity. I hope Moira can help her.
As for the 'Logan' family, it scares me a little that the kids are going to go with them. But I'm sure it makes Logan proud. I'm also pleased that he's able to now focus his anger on the one that is truly responsible. Everything that took place happened because of Xavier. His lies, his desires, his orders; it all flowed from him, the others were merely sheep to the slaughter - one way or another.
Very powerful chapter, Jo; the pain and sorrow, the anger and resentment, the resignation and strength that came from it all. Bravo! Encore!
Author's Response: Thank you honey, your very welcome, glad you came along for the ride on this one.Hugs Jo.
Lovely chapter, great atmosphere. I'm lovin' this story...
Lovely. The Star is my lucky card in the Tarot deck, so I'm glad they found some happiness through it as well. Sweet chapter, with just a HINT! of darkness edging from Logan in the form of revenge. Yes!
I really, truly hope that I'm not messed up from the head, but I love the way Logan's thinking. And I'm really sorry that I can't leave a proper rewiew, but this one's on my favorites list. just love this series to pieces.
Looking foward to Logan's revenge. Hope he guts the bastards.
YEAH!! Love kick-ass Rogue, fightin' for her man and her family! Also liked that you only 'let' Logan kill the unnamed/unknown lab assistant. Wrecking the place is as good a message as any. Also really like that Marie can "imbed" memories into others! Another great way to make a statement!
And there you go again, Jo, with the nasty, tyranical, who-gives-a-flying-f*ck-who-gets-hurt-as-long-as-I-get-my-way (Oh yes, of course Logan volunteered for this) Xavier!! I gotta check your story listing...surely you were nice to him at least once??
AWWWwwwww! C'mon! I got my heart in my throat, beatin' a mile a minute; big ol' knot of anticipation layin' in my stomach like a rock...and all you can give is a flicker of sensor power??? I'm not gonna make it to the end of this, Jo! I'm gonna need medical attention due to the tension and uncertainty you keep leaving us at!!
Woah! Cliffhanger extraordinaire...
I swear, this just gets better and better.
and again I say.....
AAAaaarrrrrrrrggghhhhh!!!!!
Ok, ok, calming down...9 cards left, now, two down, seven to go. You're going to make this right aren't you, Jo?? AREN"T YOU??
"a small black jet and a face she thought she'd never see again."
AAAaaarrrrrrrrggghhhhh!!!!!
I want to live in that village, with or without Logan (well, with, but you get my drift). That line about howling like the wolves in winter - marvelous! This chapter gets a rare 10 from me.
Love this - sweet, hot sex that's got a nasty edge to it, and the emotion of them steaming in the tub together - marvelous.
"the world turns and the gaze of the fates never stays still for too long."
That sounds waaaayy too ominous, Jo, I don't like it. Not one bit! How many cards are there still to write for?
Author's Response: There are nine left....and the next one is.....DEATH!
MWAHAHAHAHAH!!!
Is fantastic to have another chapter. And this one so full of emotions. The need, the tenderness and the love. *sighs* Really love them together, they are so sweet.
Author's Response: Thanks honey! Been offline for a bit Real Life gets in the way sometimes. But I'm back writing and hopefully I'll catch you later. Hugs Jo.
Wow - just... wow. No words.
Author's Response: *Takes bow* Thank you, I have managed to render your mind speechless, my task is completed.
Thanks honey!
This story just keeps pulling me in deeper. That scene where Logan takes a swipe at Scott (and misses), just to shake him up - powerful and scary and sooo very Logan. The blood and the waiting... you've developed a strong flavor in his killer-persona. Thank you!
