Author's Response: LOL, thanks, glad you didn't find it all too miserable! I had thoughts about leaving it that point where Marie has the gun pressed to her head and pulls the trigger. I almost did stop writing there, but then found I'd been far too cruel with the cliffie's already, and how annoyed I would be if I was the one reading the story and the writer just stopped there! Murderous thoughts would not even begin to cut it, so I took pity on all of you! As for forthcoming chapters can't promise they'll be cliffie-free, but I'll post a warning! LOL :)
