Ooh. Heh heh. This is great! I love Jubes' voice (when it's well-captured, which is not often) more than ALL the other Xmen ,I think. It's just that most ppl don't quite know what to do w/her.

Jubes, in this story, is magnificent. She makes for a nice supporting role -- popping back into our focus ust enough to make her point, then quietly exiting for Rogue to resume the spotlihgt ;)

The reversal of the X1 nightmare scene is delicious, and so delicately written. You have an economy of expression that serves this story well!
And that last scene is incredibly heart-warming, seeing the profound effect her trust has on Logan's poor isolated soul.

aw. It's so easy to see Logan doing this. In spite of the awful subject matter, it's a lovely story -- has a certain strong sense of humanity running thru it, fragility & strength entwined.
