Lot going on in this fic. The plotting and intrigue sounds like it took a GREAT deal of time, and I'm interested to see the ways in which this post-X3 world operates. Nice hints of Magneto's plans (and John in particular, Yay! John) and the question mark left by the new teacher. The suggestion that Rogue, Bobby, et.al. may have to fight soon. You've given us a bit of a lull in this latest chapter, but I'm looking forward to see where it goes.

It seems like everyone has gotten over the death from X3 pretty well, though. Has a lot of time past? The tone of the fic (and of the characters) is generally hopeful. Storm seems positive. Logan has gotten over his crying. No one seems to miss Scott. Poor Scott. *pets him*

And in this chapter? Logan is so charming, great sense of humor, and I love the fairly innocent courting of Rogue. It *does* kind of feel like courting, because there's the sexual tension there, which he's aware of, but he's working more to make her feel comfortable, open up, get to know him. But it's not so much old-fashioned as it is situational: Bobby, their own past. I loved the way Rogue tried to make the relationship more equal but ended up in a tickle fight. *g* And WHAT a cliffhanger! Meanie.

AHH! Don't stop there! Can't wait for the next part.
