I utterly love it. The Jean POV is believable, Marie is so in character it hurts, and the prose is just breathtaking. Excellent work!

Yeah, a likable Jean; but only sort of! You still managed to capture a majority of the reasons 'we' don't like her! I really liked this, really captured the angst of Rogue's feelings for Logan and hit on several of the points that make it so difficult to be her.
