I have no idea how I've never read this story after all the years I've been stalking this site, but I'm so glad I read it today. It's now 7:46AM and I have to work today, but that doesn't matter. I would gladly pull another all nighter just to read something this wonderful. I feel in love with all of the characters and with the different spin on Logan and Marie's lives. Just amazing. I don't know if you're still active on this site, since this was written some time ago, but I hope you keep writing. Because this was awesome.

It's different. Not bad, but different. Most stories don't go this far into the future, which makes this intriguing. I'm not sure how things worked out with the dead people from X3 and didn't feel it was every quite explained enough, but the War rang true for me. Somehow, in their world war seems inevitable.
Their actions and reactions, especially Logan's worked well for me and I'm so glad in the end, they found each other. That they won't lose 'them' too soon because of Marie's shorter lifespan. They're lovely together and the ease of their marriage, without becoming old and stodgy (yay, sex appeal!) is a beautiful thing.
They really do get lifetimes together. I'm glad.

I read this from beginning to end today, its very good. Very very good. The characters are true to themselves and the plot works and works well. Very nice and I would highly recommend it.
