I really have no words to describe how powerful your writing is in this one. It was sometimesvery difficult to read (in terms of emotional response). You even managed to show that Jean was always treated better than Rogue - (just like in the comics) - she was revered for her choice while Rogue was at best only misunderstood. Thank you for this one
You completely nailed all the possibilities of what Rogue's skin could, and most likely, would do to it's most unlucky owner. Not easy to write? No certainly not, but done with a finesse, a caring, an insight. Well done, Macha.
Without the dark there can be no light. Without light there can be no life. Without life what else do we have?
I've been in the dark and I found the light. Not in religion but in myself.
Thanks for writing this. It touched me.
Blessed be
As sad as this story was, it was beautifully written. It was hard reading it and I am sure if was even harder writing it.
Excellent job!
Wow, that was so sad. And tragic that even after everything no one understood.

Your story had me bawling like a baby for the entire last half.
I liked how you treated the topic with respect and honesty, even at the point where Marie admits that it's not really what she wanted, and that still no one understood her or her reasons (even Logan with the letters).
Your style is excellent. Your characterization I thought was really great as well. It is hard to write from a characters POV without it becoming too overdone, but you did a great job. And again... had me crying. Great fic.
I've read this before and it gets me every time, wonderfully written.
