Author's Response: It was a bit challenging to write this chapter at first, as I'm writing blind, so to speak. I have basic plot ideas formed, but the specific details are still floating around in my head. I tried to give it a darker side, and hoped that that came across through Ariel. I do plan on featuring her more in the story as it progresses, so expect to see more of her in the near future. I should have the next chapter up tonight, tomorrow evening at the latest.
