Such a gorgeous freaking story, the actions and emotions are so well done, and loved it from rogues POV. Loved the whole relationship with mystique, very cool. I'm definitely going to be reading this over and over.
Makes me so sad that your last story on this site is a Logan loves Jean/rogue angst fic.

I have successfully ignored all work and been blissfully lost in this story.

Possibly the hottest description of a kiss written!

Great fic

Oh, this is brilliant. I it on a list of rec and, once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. Kudos to you for stripping a beloved character to her core where she seems almost unrecognizable, even to herself, but is still undeniably Rogue. Truly brilliant.

I love it! There are not enough words to describe what I felt while I read the prologue. Definetely one of the best things I've read all my life. I like the way you provided the insight into what Rogue was feeling all that time. How easily the breaking of the vase had her life come crashing down on her hard. While I was reading the prologue I couldn't help but feel her frustration, her anger towards everything. Had I been her, I would've gone Phoenix on their ass, Lol.

Ps, I also really enjoyed your Scott. He was less of an stuck up ass and more of an....'I wouldnt mind seeing where she could take HIS story'. :D

This was EPIC! Amazing! Your voice, the way you set things up, the way you made Rouge think...omg. You absolutely cracked me up! I ADORE this fic. Its by far one of my all time favorite Rogan. Its so cannon, and so in character. BRAVO!!

god... that was good. i ignored my child, husband, chores and phone to read this today. i devoured it. .... seriously it was REALLY good. im kinda speechless here which doesn't happen often. I can't think of any other descriptions other then "good" mainly because i was blown away... wow... ok off to stare at a wall and fantasize...

Oh my. Magnificent. I was reading your other fic The Unrequited Kind and decided to read this in the meantime while I wait for the epilogue. Boy was I BLOWN AWAY. The emotion... the inner workings of Rogue. She asked the questions the audience wanted to know and it was covered beautifully. Witty, gritty, and the literary visuals were visceral. Thanks for such a great piece of work. =)

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it. It took ages to write, this one - so it makes me so ridiculously happy when someone enjoys reading it!

I enjoyed reading this, but I have to say that my favorite sections were the angsty/emo/dark sections. I really think that your strong suits lie there, but I did enjoy most of the random/funny scenes too and think you did a pretty good job of capturing the feel of the characters

Well, I have just spent the last few hours (minus cooking dinner) reading this amazing fic. And, I do mean amazing.

There were times when I wanted to slap Rogue, slap Logan, slap everyone except Scott. How the heck did THAT happen? lol You made me like him and that is really something. lol

This was an amazing journey and truly wonderful to read. I applaud the entire story. The depth of the characters, the tug of war that Logan and Rogue were playing with their hearts. It was all just splendid. The chapter (29 I think) had me all torn up. Logan was so.... you could just feel his frustration, his panic and pain.

I was totally grinning from ear to ear at Scott calling at such a bad time. And then, Logan waiting outside her Rogue... so made me swoon!

Thanks so much for sharing this.

Author's Response: "There were times when I wanted to slap Rogue, slap Logan, slap everyone except Scott" Haha! I had the same thing when writing it. I could have strangled Logan & Rogue near the end. Scott was the only one keeping me sane! Really glad you enjoyed the fic. Thank you so much for you feedback *g*

September,
You owe all those who’ve read your fic a good night’s sleep. The first time I read this, I was so absorbed in the story I forgot to eat the whole day, let alone interact.
This is the best fanfic of Rogan that I’ve read. Every time I read it, it just keeps on convincing me that it is the best.
You’re one brilliant writer. I just simply adore “More Than A Rogue”. Keep it up! :D

Author's Response: Haha - if I had learnt the secret for giving a good night's sleep - I wouldn't be as tired as I am right now! Thank you so much for your review. I'm so pleased you liked MTAR that much. You totally perked up my whole day by saying that :oD Thank you!

Wow! This story is phenomenal! I'm just sorry that it took me so long to find it! There's so much to say that I don't think I'm going to be coherant, but I have to write this so please bear with me.

First off, your prologue was amazing and from there I was immediately hooked. I loved your characterization of Rogue. God, you made her so real! I loved her ramblings, humor, self doubt, angst, and disorientation/pain/lust/love over Logan.

There are just too many scenes that I love: the confrontation when Logan tells her how he feels, Rogue getting drunk (several times!), Rogue going Terminator in the lab, their first kiss, Logan finding her in the rain and well, just about everthing else in this story.

I also really enjoyed Mystique and Scott in this too. They were really well written and it was great to see them complicated and not just the scapegoat villians that I usually come across. The plot was great too - everything just worked so damned well. Your epilogue was perfect and I like how you tied it all back to the prologue.

Sorry if I'm gushing like a fourteen year old girl (I'm actually much, much older so I have no excuse) but this story was just amazing and an absolute joy to read. I even got into a fight with my husband because I couldn't put it down. Yeah, I know, I've got issues. ;) Any way, thanks for your hard work, talented writing and commitment to finishing this story! It's stories like this that keep me addicted to this fantastic fanfic site.

Author's Response: Haha! I get in to fights with my husband all the time because I'm reading something I refuse to put down. He teases me about the kind of books I read as well. The grump! I just wanted to say thank you so much for your review, and for enjoying this fic so much. Especially for saying I managed to make Rogue so real. I could hug you for that! You've put a massive grin on my face today :oD Thank you!

Oh. My God.

I sat down last night, thinking I'd chill, read a little fanfiction, watch tv....I started this at eight. Didn't go to bed til midnight. I COULD NOT put it down. It was briliant. Good job. Excellent writing, well-drawn characters, scenes that make you want to cringe in sympathy.
And I second the motion to have this written again from Logan's POV. That's an awesomeness you can't refuse. :)

Where do I start!!!!! Fabulous, but you really wrote emotions with reasons, but didn't write it blatently like we weren't educated readers. What I would love is the same story from Logans POV, what her actions seemed like from the outside looking in.

September,

I’ll start off with the prologue which I have to say was one of the best set-ups for a story I’ve read in a long time – you didn’t just tick all the boxes you punched them, and that was that I was Hooked with a capitol H.

Your characterisation of Rogue was wonderful and you really did get ‘in her head’ well. I loved the back and forth of her thoughts/feelings/emotions – the lies/the truth/all the confusion in-between/what she knew/what actually was etc. If I have one criticism it would be that further on in the story there were a few lines of this that came across as a little bit too childish, but it was very few.

Really liked the way you worked in references from film and earlier in the story, your little flashbacks to previous sentences that appeared in her head sometimes hitting right out of the blue keeping the reader on their toes and dragging you right back in to the story as a whole.

Also loved the scene just before Logan finds her [you know exactly which scene I’m talking about!] I can’t believe she took so long to get *there* wonderful descriptions making absolutely brilliant reading! The suspense you created in this scene alone worth a gold star :)

I’m also going to give a special mention to the shouting match from Logan when he tells her just how long he’s been thinking about her and her subsequent misunderstanding of his words. His confession reading [very much like the whole story in general really] as what could quite easily be very ‘real.’

Must mention Scott who I loved in this; feel free to bring him back in something else just as he was here. It was such a change to read him as dare I say more ‘human!

I hope at least some of this makes sense, if not It’s because its very early in the morning and I should have been at work 5 minuets ago but *someone’* :) kept me up half the night with a damn fine story I couldn’t seem to put down.

Oh I nearly forgot, you mentioned the finish and how you quite liked it ending where it was before the epilogue – you know of my impatience, how I can’t read anything until it’s complete, there’s also my ‘I’m a sucker for a happy shippery ending’ attitude. [not that I don’t still love the darker, the sadder, the down right angsty etc] but, and I’m probably going to regret saying this cause I’ll loose my rights to ever say ‘more needed to finish this’ I actually would have been quite happy at ending it where it was without the epi. It just seemed to finish at the right place and in keeping with the theme and pace and there was enough hope to leave it that little bit open. [but keep that to yourself I wouldn’t want it getting out:)]

Well done
Litlen x

Have I told you that I love you? Caus eI do. Hard. You might want to look into a restraining order. This was perfectly imperfect. I love it. I love the naked feet and the huge bugs and the hook me up to a shit ton of drugs and that Scott is somehow flying the jet blind better than Marie can drive.

Thank you.

~Mia

Author's Response: Ha!! Ok the restraining order bit made me laugh far too loud! And I love that you loved it for all the random little things like the bugs and the bare feet. Heeee! Thank you! :oD

Perfect ending. I love seeing a happy Rogue and Logan, their life might not be perfect but it works for them and that's all that matters. Thanks for posting this. I've been anticipating it forever!

Author's Response: Heh, it's taken me forever to post! Slack! Ahh well. Got there in the end. Glad you enjoyed it :o)
