OMG!!! That was freakin' awesome. Treacherous, treacherous Rogue. ;)
I would LOVE a companion piece. I mean, we have to see if Logan gets some sense knocked into him. lol. Oh man, still laughing. Thanks for a great laugh!
That WAS AWESOME! i didnt think it was too long at all really. i REALLY hope you do write a Companion piece to this!!! you CANT leave me hanging!! i wanna know what Logan's gonna DO!!! i kinda thought Logan would drop into a dead faint when he entered his room! i thought that be fuckin funny as hell! but i really wanna see what your gonna come up with! ...wow i really should not review late at night and eat pocky at the same time.... well i love your fic! hope you update soon!
That was totally vindictive, and I hate to admit I was kinding hating Rogue towards the end of her scenting his room lol but then when he came home I could not stop laughing haha =D
And i gotta say the whole flashback scene was really good. It shows her childish side and kind of proves the point in why Logan doesn't want to 'corrupt' that innocence (or so he thnks) lol
And yes I gotta say you need to write a sequel cause it can't end like this. That will be even more mean then what Rogue did to Logan!!
This was good fun if a little lengthy on the descriptions for my taste. Worked well for me on the flashbacks and scene setting but a bit too much detail later on every single candle she put out and piece of garment she laundered.
Having said that, it does show off your writing / descriptive abilities amazingly. Can't help being impressed at the level of detail and the amount of time you devote to it without getting carried away by the plot. I can see you becoming a paid writer one day!
I really liked the park swing scene, both the dialogue and the little things like her shuffling back away from him and then him stepping back to let her relax. Little tensions like that are just priceless.
I do hope you're going to do a follow up to this.. it's no fun her having gone to all that trouble if we don't see Wolvie's reaction and what he does about it! As with Rogue at the end.. "she couldn't wait to see what happened next."
Author's Response: Wow August Thank you, that was the sweetest review you've ever left me. Very endearing and I greatly appreciate the praise, that part about me being a paid writer didn't hurt either ; )rnrnI'm working on trying to come up with ideas worthy of Logan when it comes to extracting revenge. I really appreciate your positive feedback though I am planing on writing a companion piece I just don't know when the inspiration's going to strike
I loved this. Rogue is so conniving and vindictive. And I didn't think it was too long at all.
I really hope you decide to do a companion piece or a continuation of this story
Author's Response: I'm happy you approved of my Rogue, I thought sometimes I was making her a little too mean but I'm happy she across as strategically cruel, as in vindictive as opposed to just crazed and carried away with revenge lust. A companion piece may be in the works.
oh please do a sequel have to find out what happens. this was just the funniest thing to read. thanks for the morning laugh
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it! I started writing this just because the idea kept nipping at me and then I was laughing so hard writing it I just really wanted to share the fun
Adults can't sit on swingsets? I'm in trouble then. I love swingsets.
This was great! I loved it! Please tell me theres more.
Author's Response: THANK YOU for the validation! One of my friends told me on my twentieth birthday THAT swinging was immature..... I just started at him like he shot a hole through my favorite balloon-duh swing sets are for all ages!
OMG!!! You simply HAVE to write a companion piece!!! You know Logan would not let an affront like this go unanswered!! SEQUEL!! SEQUEL!! SEQUEL!!
Author's Response: LoL I like the chanting - nice touch. I have to admit I'm having a lot of fun thinking up different ideas that are Logan worthy revenge attempts. Thanks for the encouragement though
oh man, this one almost got lost for me in the flood of updates. Great addition, Amanda. I love a good comedic revenge piece. Did you ever read Marie's Revenge? It was a companion piece to The Hazards of Drinking. I kept thinking of that story as I read this one. and when i read the bit about the drawer full of porn i was instantly hit smack in the face with the mental image of Scott's head plastered to all the women's bodies in the magazines. Thank god it was just a pic of L/M =P
The length worked. I like a good 10-12,000 word length in a one-shot piece. And i thought you held this one together well. Jeez, my nose is still tingly from reading this one. I have spring allergies and there is a thick layer of pollen clinging to absolutely everything outside for the last few days. So I'm already suffering. Now, though, I'm rubbing my nose so hard I'm probably going to get a nosebleed. Thanks! (that was sarcasm, by the way.)
Anyway, good stuff. While the comedy was great-- you have a knack for it--- I really enjoyed the Logan and Marie interection. The image of her swaying on the swing and him perched against the rails--- beautiful. I liked it when she pushed away from him, needing the distance. And I absolutely LOVED it when she told him off. I'd quote my favorite lines from that, but then I'd be quoting the whole monologue. *grins*
God, a love a good bit of angst before the happy ending.
hint, hint. meaning; get off your lazy bum and write a companion piece to this one! Also, while you're writing, how 'bout adding another chapter to WYCF? Is that too much to ask for you? Sweet Molasses woman!
Author's Response: I'm so happy you liked it! I really laughed a lot writing this and of course after you mentioned Marie's Revenge, I had to go read that story. rnrnTook me a while to find the thing for some reason the search box on the website didn't bring it up right away, but after some scrolling I found it. Hazards of Drinking was hysterical but that other one, the Revenge Fic- priceless! Thanks for telling me about it, I mean the skunk bit? That was amazing.....especially with the added help of the dyes!rnrnSorry about your allegeries, I used to be a chronic nose-rubber myself, I'm a big fan of the open palm, counter-clockwise rotation, seems to hit all the right itchy nose spots. Then when I was sixteen I got my nose pierced by an Asian in a van in Greenwich village and I couldn't do the nose rub without causing a nose bleed...he he yeah....fixed that problem!!rnrnALSO, in reference to your update request. I'd like to take a moment to quote the famous words of a fellow fanfiction writer. I won't mention names, but I think the exact words were something like:rnrn"demanding little thing aren't you?"rnrnRing any bells? Oh and Molasses woman? I just wrote a 11,000 word story, that's like a breech birth! Have a little mercy! I am working on an update but I don't like where anything is going, I keep scraping and re-writing and then I got side tracked with Revenge and now I'm being tugged in a different direction by the idea of a sequel... rnrnI'll try to deliver with something worth the wait, I promise. Thanks for reading though and I'm glad you liked the Rogue monologue, I struggled to make that sound like something she would say.
oh god, i blew beer out my nose!
excellent research! that poor man. ok, i take that back, he was a giant dick to her so he totally deserved it.
Author's Response: ooh! Sorry about the beer blowing, I'm glad it made you laugh though! I love reviews with reaction stories, thanks for the info!! Don't forget to update!
