Nice chapter. I'm anxiously waiting for the time when Logan and Rogue are thrown together again. I'm so glad he still has hope that she's alive and out there somewhere. As for Rogue leading their little group of mutants, I think that will be awesome. Rogue is so great when she's kicking some serious butt...it's the perfect job for her.

wow, victor being kinda nice? shocking and definitely has me intrigued.
and you can kinda hear logan in his voice, the way he speaks. makes sense since they, in pretty much all X-men universes, they have a bond, even if it's creepy.
Author's Response: I wanted to make him the much scarier Logan, although Rogue will NOT have the same relationship with him.

Great chapter! I love the addition of Remy and Pietro to the mix. They will definitely help to make things interesting for Rogue. And Rogue's supposed to lead the Brotherhood? That's an interesting twist to things as well. And who the heck's life is she going to take? Questions and more questions.... I can't wait to find out the answers!

ooooh, i dig this spin on what happened after Rogue took the cure.
i always thought that in X3 when she went to take the cure they would have noted her mutation and someone (I.e. bad guys in the government) would've been looking for someone like her!

I'm so glad you're continuing this, I was really missing it! and it's so great how instead of wrapping it up after the rescue you're introducing more characters (Remy, Pietro, Destiny) and setting up more storyline.. you've put so much effort in! Thank you!
Enjoying it and looking forward to more..
I just hope with all the new characters and developments Vic doesn't get forgotten, he's one of my favourites.
Author's Response: Real life's been getting in the way a little, but I am working on the next chapter now. Don't worry about old Victor, either. He's still an important part of this story and will be back in the next chapter.

I just read the whole thing and it's great! I like how you made Sabertooth symapthetic to Rogue. I can't wait to see what happens between her and the rest of the Brotherhood (I assume that's basically who they are anyway).
One thing though, If Logan could smell her that well in the cell, wouldn't he have been able to trace her scent out of there? Maybe not easy in the confusion but I can't see him giving up that easy.
I can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: It's basically the confusion of all the scents, there weren't as many in the cell as there were outside of it. And he hasn't really given up. I'm doing more on that in the next chapter. Thanks!!!!

Happy you're still working on this story :)
Great chapter, you handled the escape really well, though they're not completely out of the frying pan yet!
I liked how they didn't take Vic's collar off in the end, but was rather surprised that Rogue was able to take all 5 men out on her own (whilst wounded) when she hadn't been able to take them out before... oh, but I guess before she had the collar on, I'd kind of forgotten! So I guess it serves to show how great her power is and that she should value it.
Sweet scene with Rogue requesting a kiss from Victor before her powers are returned, but kind of sad that you keep stressing that there's no attraction there, so I guess I can't hope for a love triangle and her having to choose later on... bummer, love triangles are so much fun!
Looking forward to seeing where they escape to, whether Victor sticks around to help Rogue or they go their separate ways, and what Logan makes of having arrived too late! whahahahahahaha ;-)

Love the relationship that Rogue and Victor have. Its freaking awesome. And I'm glad that is not romantic in anyway. great story cant wait for the next chapter. =P
Author's Response: I didn't want to add too much romantic dynamic between the two, mainly because I didn't want Rogue to have to make that ultimate choice between Vic and Logan. Thanks for the feed back. I am working on the next chapter now!
