The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
Its ok, I like this story better than Don't let me catch you anyway. This boxing match should be good.
Author's Response: thanks! i had to take a break from DLMCY, it was getting too complicated, so i needed to write this for some fun ;)
You just keep going deeper and deeper into these characters and I am loving it! The hint of sadness from Pyro over the basketball court was brilliant. And Wolverine's assessment of them all being starved for attention is right on, of course. I wonder if he will only take advantage of the 'easy pickings' or if he will develop real friendships with these guys. Hmmm.
Oh, and don't sweat the death grip; I'm sure most of us are familiar. --Wendie
Author's Response: thanks! yeh, it sucks to be over at BH with no place for kids to be kids, even if they try to act like badasses. i think my Wolverine might make some real friends eventually, but you know they'll have to be a bunch of problems first LOL!
Oooh can't wait to read about the fight.
Loving the story. Very few take on the challenge of Logan as a teenager but I'm always fascinated by those stories as it is the part of his life we never see in any medium. Now if I can find someone to re-create The Breakfast Club with an all mutant cast...
Author's Response: oh god girl, don't give me ideas! too late! lol! yeh, playing with AU gives one a real opportunity to play with different depictions of these character we love, take them in a new direction. the idea of what Logan was like as a kid has always intersted me. we didn't even see it in the Wolverine movie or even all that much in the original Origins comic. lots of room to explore!
'folded like a cheap hooker when punched in the gut by a fat guy with sores on his face' great line!!!! Can't wait until the next chapter comes up! And soooooooooooo happy that I didn't have to wait until tomorrow for this little part.
Author's Response: that line is actually one Joey from Friends said in an episode once. isn't is bizarre?
