Author's Response: thanks! i just had to lighten it up. i mean, who hasn't snuck out of a window as a teen? my older sister fell into a holly bush one time, woke up my parents. it was hilarious!

Author's Response: thanks! i remember thinking the same silly things as a kid and even now on the rare occasions i have to fuss over my hair and outfit. and of course a teenage boy would never admit to thinking such foo-foo stuff, they have to be all "i just fall out of bed like this b/c i'm a guy and don't give a fuck." but we all know they worry about how they look when they're trying to impress a girl!
