ok, i get it she's goes back in time to about 20 years before Logan show up at the mansion and stop the Weapon X experiment from happening altogether, then brings him to the mansion, where she goes back to her own time. got it and looooove it.
but here's my question...so when did she come to the mansion in this new timeline? what was that story, did he save her on Liberty? how did they get together?
when Logan said "I know you're not you?" does that mean that when she came to from that white light she returned to her body from her little time travelling mission and Logan knew that NOW she was the woman he knew from 20 years ago? so he'd spent the last few years being her friend until the light figuratively went off and he alternate timeline memories/life manifested in the present.
i don't know if my question made any sense, but i'm dying to get a wee bit of clarification on Logan and Marie's relationship in the X-mansion after she delivered him there this disappeared into the timestream.
despite my question i seriously enjoyed this story, especially since there's a happy ending...and the way scott eats his pancakes LOL

i like this version with Creed helping Logan a little bit better than the first version but both are awesome.

I am totally confused as to the need for the alternate ending, but I do like this one. I dig it that Victor is on their side, a fairly unusual perspective to say the least, but nicely explained by Stryker's line about him not being able to do 'what was necessary' when it came to his brother. The only thing I hate about fan fiction is when I am completely wrapped in it... it ends and I have to wait.
