This is by far one of the most powerful stories I have ever read. None have brought out such extreme emotions. At points I was almost sick to my stomach and at others I was bawling in tears. It tells such a sad story, one that I can only hope will have a happy ending.
I am certain that you have talent. You must to be able to write material like this. I beg you to continue with this story, and finish it.
I certainly wasn't expecting so much angst from this, however, I still think it was good. Thank you so much for taking the time to put it online so that we could enjoy it. I wish you luck and hope you update soon.

Author's Response: Oh wow! Thank you so much for such kind words!! I have to admit that several times writing the story I, too, have cried and thought "where in the world is this coming from!" lol! I promise you and everyone that has read and fallen in love with the story that IT WILL BE FINISHED!! I plan on starting back writing on it in very very soon!! Man, poor Logan. All the pain and guilt he feels over learning the truth about Rogue's imprisonment is just heartrending.
But I like how you are starting to build back their relationship, showing that there is still hope:
Logan’s head rose slowly towards Marie, his hazel eyes boring into her again. “Will you wait for me?” he asked.
Slowly, she looked back up at him, her mouth coming open to speak, “Yes.”
“Good,” he breathed.
With that, everyone but Marie turned and went to the direction of Xavier’s office. She watched them go, her attention on the retreating back of Logan. As he reached Xavier’s door, he turned towards her. Their eyes met for a moment, Marie felt the jolt so strong it almost knocked her over.
Great chapter and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Good God, poor Logan! His agony is palpable, to put it mildly. So heartbreaking that she doesn't remember him and all he's gone through to see her again. What an angsty, but excellent, chapter.

This was worth the wait! Logan now knows and heaven help thoses who hurt his Marie when he finds them. I can't wait for more chapters...yes plural..to post. Will she begin to remember him? There is a huge amount happening in this chapter and I really like all of them but I think my favorite is Logan looking at Xavier and explaining why Magneto let him come back. The delivery is perfect and the reactions I can just see the look going from Logan to Charles. Perfect.

Awesomeness. I always knew Eric wasn't all bad, that's what makes him interesting. I cannot wait for the angst that will ensue. I'm sure not everyone will have agreed with Logan's decision. Ha, keep writing.
Author's Response: Yes, Eric has his good moments, though he is still the Magneto we love to hate sometimes!! He is VERY complex! Thanks for the review and more chapters are to come!

now you have to post additional chapters....waiting isn't a strong suit of mine...please I really do want to see Wolverine kicked Stryker all over this lab, avenge Marie, save other mutunts there, and help Marie with her memories? Plus I would love to see Eric helping out with the Avenging of Marie
Author's Response: I have started writing the next chapter and hopefully it will be out tomorrow. As for when the butt-kicking will begin, I can't really say yet. Right now I'm going to focus on Logan and Marie since it's been forever that they have been together. But, everything will play out as it should and lead us to that final confrontation. As for Magneto being a part of it, we can only wait and see. The man is very unpredictable!! :)

YAY!! Logan is going home! I love this very real view of Magneto. I find myself hating him a little less. I loved how Jubes told Marie what she needed to know about Logan and that night as well. More please!
Author's Response: The one thing I've always thought about Magneto, though he never showed it, is a part of him regretted what he did to Marie, because it has some similarities to what happened to him. I could be totally and completely wrong, and it wouldn't surprise me, but that's how I've always felt and have wanted to write a story where I could show that side of Magneto. I do not believe he's all bad. His ideas are for the good of his people, but there're just misguided. Yes, always count on Jubes, love that girl!!

Author's Response: You are so welcome, and thank you for reading. It makes me smile so much when I see people enjoy the story coming out of my head. I've always wanted to be a writer and this is the closest I can get, I guess, but it's been so worth it! The new chapter will be coming out very soon. I've already started writing it. Thanks for the comment and sticking with the story.

wow that was hard to read. I feel terrible for Marie. But honestly, why does no one TELL Marie about her life? All the misunderstanding could be avoided if she had some point of context in which to understand her memories.
Author's Response: It was hard to write! Over the months that Marie has been back at Xavier's, people have tipped-toed around her, not really knowing how to deal with her memory loss. Xavier has tried with his sessions and up until this breakthrough, it had been unsucessful. The truth is, Marie can't rememeber any of these people and if it were real life, would she believe them just because they told her this and that happened in her life? I'm not so sure. Jubes is the closest person to her right now that could have broken through the doubt and that's why she believed her. Thanks so much for reviewing, keep them coming!

Wow. this story keeps getting better and better. I LOVE it. I feel so terrible for Logan right now. Marie too but at least Logan knows what he lost. Have to give Marie props on being the bravest person here. What she did took guts.
Author's Response: Thank you so much!! Yeah, poor Logan!! I'm putting them through utter hell and I feel so bad about it...*cough*! lol, no it will be worth it in the end. She's a strong person, though she doesn't realize it now!
