Ok, just two things:

Logan wouldn't actually be a pedophile for being attracted to Marie; The term pedophile means someone who is physically and mentally attracted to people who LOOK like a kid -- when their prepubescent. So even if Marie is mentally child-like, it's my understanding that she looks like a women...

also, isn't the age of consent in New york state 17? I'm actually Canadian, but my mums from the states and she said it differs from state-to-state, the age of consent ranging from 16-18, depending on where you are, and I looked it up and it said the age of consent in New york state is 17...

Just thought I'd point that out, 'cause I absolutely am addicted to this story so far and I love it, but those two things have been nagging at me for awhile 0_0.

I don't mean any offense by pointing em' out though, just so ya know.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I stated somewhere in my first A/Ns that I noticed the child-like-looks of Marie in X1 (she looks more mature in X2&3). So it's exactly the other way around than you wrote: Marie looks younger than she is, but mentally a part of her is very mature due to her absorption of Logan and Magneto; on the other hand she's still an inexpierenced teen. I'll bring up more background information about Marie's childhood in later chapters... And Logan is attracted to Marie's kind and loving personality, though he's sure that she'll be very beautiful woman once she's grown up.
rnI already came across the thing with the age of consent a few months ago and I know it's a mistake. But when I started with this story I had read a lot of other Rogan stories and THERE it was always stated that Logan waited till she was 18, so I went along without looking it up. It's so confusing that this law differs from state-to-state.
Then there is the problem that Logan is Marie's teacher and they would have to wait till her graduation.

Personally, I'd like to see Logan knock both Scott's AND Jean's heads together, 'cause they're both being total jerks, even though Jean is at least keeping her stupid notions to herself. I like how you are moving slowly but surely with the relationship between Marie and Logan. They are acting more and more like a couple and not just like two people raising the same child.
