Author's Response: Yeah, and I hope to get that across to her eventually. Sorry about the name Bryan. I just went to a baby name site. I wanted something that meant "strong" because the kind of guy I wanted for Rogue would be the anti-thesis, not of Logan, but of so many of the "other man" types she gets stuck with.

Truthfully, I'm disappointed. You gave us all this 'torture' for Logan, all this teasing build-up and then you bailed. I'm all for keeping the story moving, and God knows, I hate the fact the she basically had sex with him precisely because of who he WASN'T, not because of who he WAS or because he really meant anything to her, but I was kind of looking forward to how she perceived her first sexual encounter. Was she thrilled? Disappointed? Scared? Was she even a little bit sorry it wasn't with Logan? Not only did they not have sex 'on camera', as it were, but she didn't even dish about it with her girlfriends afterward. And wouldn't it have been great for her to really have something to compare Logan with eventually? Might that not make Logan just a tad nervous...talk about your torture...
Anyway, all of that having been said, I am still very much on board with this story and look forward to 'the campaign'. --Wendie

Thanks for this look into Logan's head. It was absolutely necessary and perfectly timed. I like that he thought of her as 'safe' within the cocoon of her mutation--a place only he was brave enough to enter--and now that the 'butterfly' has been released, he's having a little trouble keeping up. Author's Response: I'll be honest--I'm kind of nervous what you'll think of the date since I couldn't bring myself to write Rogue and Bryan sex. It just wasn't there, though I wanted it to be. :-( I loved it when the Logan in my head decided to give me that little tidbit. Wasn't it great? Good Logan. Maybe you'll get a cookie. Eventually. ;-)

Wow you have been busy! I loved Logan's point of view. I love that you had him hit with the proverbial brick. lol Love Rogue out there having fun and getting some experience! I can't wait to see what Logan does next and how Marie responds to it. lol Awesome job so far!
Author's Response: Rogue really does need at least a little experience to keep up with Logan, in my mind. Granted, a lot of people use her memories, but I figured, give the girl a break, let her have a little fun because Logan sure as hell had his opportunities!

Author's Response: Well, in Greek and Roman mythology, the Three Fates are women, one who spins, one who measures, and one who cuts the thread of life. I've only ever heard "bitch" in reference to fate, and I guess that's where it comes from. (See the random bits of information you get when you're a history major?)

Author's Response: Since I really don't want any bodies of the dead sort here, it won't be too long, but...yeah, he's going to have to work for it. At least a few chapters, probably. I *may* be nice and get rid of Bryan sooner rather than later to give him a clearer playing field...But Rogue's gonna be one demanding bitch for a while.
