Okay, I have a confession to make: I actually do really like Scott, particularly when there is no stoopid Jean bringing him down and making him Mr. Uptight. I have a soft spot for Scott/Marie fics and even though Rogan is Number 1 in my heart, I am enjoying where you are going with this!
Author's Response: Thank you! I hope the rest of the chapters I've posted so far do not disappoint. I also have a very small soft spot for Scott/Marie, mostly when there's been stupid Logan/Jean stuff happening. This fic has grown out of that into something...interesting to me. I'll admit that the turns I've taken so far were sometimes ones I did not anticipate taking, and the ones in the future are still very much up for grabs. In other words, I'm wingin' it!

the scary part is a kinda (ok, really) enjoyed reading this. it's so nice for Rogue to have something so simple and pure and sweet...seriously, she's had so little of that in her life, esp. with Wolverine.
Author's Response: Yeah, I keep getting that. My take on it: I'm doing something right even though what I'm writing felt all wrong at first...and the worst part, now it kind of doesn't, at least for me! (And, apparently, a bunch of others, too!) I never thought I'd have people on here rooting for Rogue/Scott sex scenes or anything!

Definately sick. I had to pretend it was Logan in the shower with her, it's the only way I could read it! lol! :-)
Author's Response: Yeah, when I wrote it everything was "he" with no name. I had to go back and change one or two to "Scott" when I was done writing it, and even that made me wince.

Hmmm. Not sure I'd call this chapter a knock down, more like a pull you back up from being knocked down. The knock down is implied. You know Logan and Jean did something to bring them down, but they are pulling themselves back up.
Great chapter though and I can't wait to see the next!
Author's Response: I guess for me the knock down was just that she had sex with someone besides Logan. I'm so territorial when it comes to that, and yet the stories I've been writing lately have seen that happen way too often! Then again, I really hate how Movie!Logan seems to take her for granted, especially around X2 & X3, so maybe that's why I'm doing it.
