"Who Logan has been; what Logan has done.
Who Logan had been. What Logan had done."

That would be a major turning point of how Rogue sees Logan. Right?

Dude, I always say this but Imma say it again:-

I'm afraid. And this time, I'm afraid that Rogue would hate Logan for the things that he'd done.

Author's Response: lol. What can I say? I feel like I want to give you a cookie. As always, thank you for reading, despite the fear! You get much appreciation from me. :)

Another great chapter! I can't wait to read Rogue's POV to know what she learns from Logan when he heals her injury and how she feels about it. The same goes for when he asks her to tell him what she's seen in his head. I'm still uneasy and worried about Logan!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for reading, and for the lovely comment! And, as I've responded to others who've expressed the same feelings, thank you for your unease and your worries--strange as it may sound... They are much, much appreciated by this little writer. :)

Really liked the conflict in this chapter. Loved Rogue’s contemplation/examination of what she thought was the truth and the realisation that not all is as it first appears, that anyone can have ghosts, all can be haunted and how one set of circumstances can have a knock on effect, the ramifications not always just for one but sometimes for many.

Throughout you have used words and phrases from the opposite ends of the spectrum, short sharp and harsh yet somehow showing there is always grey in-between black and white.

You are extremely good at showing both sides and have a great knack of getting the reader to sympathise with people/actions/feelings [somewhat against our will!]

There is also a kind of coming of age feel to this chapter – realising some of her own actions of the past and their effects, though there is more to come on this I suspect.....though I could be totally wrong!

Are you p’d off yet with me telling you how much I’m loving this, I hope not cause I’m gonna keep saying it.....it is so beautifully and intelligently written, If you’re not earning money with your writing talent you damn well should be.....and by the way I’M LOVING IT!!

Author's Response: Ah, how could I be pissed off with such lovely and thoughtful commments? The opposite, believe me. Thank you in particular for the comment about the "words and phrases from the opposite ends of the spectrum;" that is always a large concern for my writing: the rhythm of the prose, and in particular the tension in English between more "flowery" Latinate words and the shorter, sharper words of Anglo-Saxon origin. I'm always moved by writing that plays with that tension, so if that came into play here, to support the "grayness" of the story's emotion, I'm stoked. Hahaha, about forcing readers to sympathize with "villains" against their will: yes, guilty as charged. And the opposite, as well: radically "dark"-ifying otherwise "heroic" figures. Meep. And yes, about the coming of age: although I don't usually specialize in that kind of narrative, I think it's a very apt description here. But it's really interesting to write that for Rogue, since in the movieverse she's given to us so young; you kind of can't help but imagine what that transition will be like for her. (laugh) Obviously I almost never think it'll be easy. Thanks again for the lovely, lovely feedback!

This was very interesting. I actually love the spin you did with Harada. Very cool. I like that she went there for revenge and came out with answers and still none of his blood on her hands. Good job!

Author's Response: Thanks for the lovely comment! I'm glad you enjoyed the Harada section; yes, it seems I have a thing for somewhat de-villainizing old villains. :)
