Awww sad chapter.
Author's Response: Yeah, I'm awful, aren't I? But the angsty goodness makes all the happy hot sex better!
i want more, but i'll respect the fact that you are finished.
but i have to say, that first chapter almost had me in tears. and that is hard to do.
as for the end of this chapter, WOW... glad its like 15 degrees outside cause i need to cool off.
Author's Response: Aw, I'm glad you liked it -- both parts!
Oh my! It's suddenly gone very warm in here - must open a window!
Seriously, your story is one of the best I've read in ages! You have a wonderful way with words, transporting us so easily into the world you have created and letting us see everything so perfectly through your eyes. Honestly, it was so beautifully written that I swear I could smell the woods around me as I read!
Please don't let your talent go to waste! Write more, or else!!!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! Glad I could warm things up for you...it's freezing here today!
I really liked this! Marie's sadness and loneliness were palpable. The sweet resolution was perfect. Thanks for sharing this and I hope to read more from you in the future.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review!
Also, if you have a Mac & you're trying to select multiple genres - press the "command" button while you click on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc genre you want. Hope that helps
Author's Response: Oh, thanks, I'll try that. I knew there had to be a simple answer.
GREAT STORY!!! The angst was fantastic but the smut was even better! My heart was beating outta my chest with Marie's as she ran from Logan and again as he explained how very wrong she was!
Author's Response: Aw, thanks!
Wonderful and well worth waiting for! As for authors, everyone on this site is great, but in particular, Joanne, Shadowlady, Tinhutlady. One of my favorite things to do is when I read a story that I especially like is to go to that auther's page and check out the other stories and then check out her favorites. I've spent hourd this way. grin
Author's Response: Thanks, for both the review and for the recommendations!
‘Hold the CTRL key to make multiple selections.’ It’s in small print just under where you add the title of a new story!
I really liked the way you started this – the overall sadness of it – the feeling she’s lost the last remaining tie to ‘normal ’But even that is gone now. The insidious slide into avoidance.’ There was a kind of acceptance in it all as if she had been expecting it all along/as if it was inevitable.
Liked the explanation of why her hair was in a ponytail ‘wary of anything affecting her peripheral vision’ I also liked that it was her father that told her not to use her real name (I like the unusual/the unique, these are the things that turn fics with the same basic concept into something different and not something you’ve read a thousand times before!)
I enjoyed reading this Well done x
Author's Response: Thanks...I tried that for the genres, but maybe the problem is my Mac, or browser? When I hold the control key and click in the Genre box it pops up a menu box (control+click on a Mac is like a right-click on a PC). Oh well. Thank you so much for the thoughtful review,
Apparently, you've discovered the key to writing great smut. If it makes you blush, you're doing it right.
Loved this whole chapter, but for some reason one phrase really captured the moment for me:
"settling her boneless weight in a soft heap on top of his chest"
We should all be so lucky! --Wendie
Author's Response: Thanks for the review!
Such wonderful use of description. The first chapter brought such tears to my eyes, this chapter definately helped to ease the ache in my heart your Rogue's utter loneliness caused. Excellent job, just fantabulously excellent.
Author's Response: Thank you so much!
