Everyone’s being played and has hidden agendas, games are afoot and this fic is getting more intriguing the further in we get.
As for what comes next.... I’m not going to say a hard fight or a hard fuck or even a lovely combination of the two. I’m just going to say more, more of whatever you feel like giving us because we’ll all be here reading it no matter what.

Oooh...I'm looking forward to what comes next. ;)
I love how they've both teamed up and duped the professor.
And how dark does Logan make Rogue--that is chilling and disturbing.
Their twisted dynamic has gotten me squirming in my seat. I'm going to go with my earlier comment of "More, damn it. Give me MORE!"
I'm hungry for what's next. Feed the beast! :)

Woah, has Logan ever twisted this girl into a slightly-insane female version of himself! He really did mold her into a companion for himself, didn't he? I mean, coaching a girl on the most painful way to kill her own father?? ...no matter his past sins, that's very dishonorable behavior. Yours is certainly nothing like the Comics' "Samurai-Logan"!

Ok, that is... wow! I can't wait to see where else you take this. I am intrigued with the evolution of the back story and how it affects the X-Men.
That flashback of killing Marie's father and why was an explanation and a breadcrumb of intrigue all in one. It gives you an idea of why Rogue's powers are the one's they are thereby giving you an inkling (as so many others have done) that the powers a mutant develops are very much psychological. Still, I would love to see some Rogue/Wolverine interaction in a cage fight followed by some rather heated conversation with a little sexual tension and teasing thrown in. *grin*
Author's Response: Thank you for picking up on this, as that nasty little bit was designed to allow me to explore why Marie is like she is, physically as well as socially. I'm very interested in human evolution and that's probably what attracted me to this fandom in the first place. And what I'm liking about this particular piece is that there is lots of backstory, and I spent yesterday thinking about forward story too ... it's going to be a doozy. :D

Argh, you're like "Lost," every chapter brings more questions instead of answers, but I'm still loving it! Hopefully you'll give us a more satisfying conclusion than "Lost" did. ;-) This chapter was poignant, but I am still liking the weird tutor/pupil dynamic between these two. I read back over the prior chapter just to get oriented again, and was struck again by the part where she thinks, "Stupid girl. Dead girl." I know we've only got a hint of what Logan did to kill that hope in her, but it'll be angsty goodness when we get there. And surprisingly, the thing that has creeped me out the most so far is the idea of Logan in linen pants and silk shirts. :-D
Author's Response: I really was intending on providing some answers, they just got pushed out of this chapter. But I do think the fact that Rogue was abused is a fairly big answer, and as I said elsewhere, it's something I always thought HAD to be behind such an anti-social mechanism. (Mutation is random, of course, but evolution would rule THAT particular mutation out of the genepool pretty damn quick.) And yes, I'm with you on the silk shirts ... I think that threw me so much the first time around I *gasp* got blocked!

Thanks for the warning...I hate molestation and I just skipped over those little parts. I find myself wondering what Logan and Rogue's game is. Thank you for updating.
Author's Response: I know a lot of people would prefer not to read scenes like that. But I needed to explain just why Rogue is so messed up, and I always thought her mutation wasn't a standard evolutionary quirk, but needed to have some sort of pyschological factor for it to go so bad for her. Hope it wasn't too distressing for you :(

maybe if Remy is there since Rogue wants a little fight and sex, she should go to him and do it but i wonder how logan would react to the scent of another man on her.
