Glowing, both! Good. And you can see how much this story has me in a twist by me admitting a certain degree of relief that the trouble prepares to come from the outside for a change.
In any case: Do keep on writing! This is all excellent stuff!!! (In case my comments have managed to be so meandering that you've never caught this central attitude. :-)
Umm... would the cat not make at least a day's worth of food? You need to teach the kids priorities, you know! :-D
Author's Response: Thank you for your wonderful reviews - I always love them. Sorry to twist you all up! I do intend to keep writing although life has me on a mini-hiatus at the moment; that, and I took a wrong turn in the next chapter and am currently struggling over a rewrite. But there should be something new this week, I promise. Thanks so much for your reviews ... they are better than TimTams.

I continue to think this story is pure awesome with awesomesauce on top. I like the hints of things to come -- Logan's mysterious client (Mystique, maybe?) and the mysterious job.

Dayum, woman. I don't know how you do it. In every chapter, you just hit all the notes. Hot as hell, so sweet it makes me "Aw...", intriguing plot points, beautiful language. I had to read it three times just to make sure I was catching it all.
Favorite lines:

Author's Response: I am too much of an egotist to post a chapter that doesn't have some good lines, or a high spot of some sort. Hence my lack of updates recently - I wasn't happy with what I had, so stuck it all in the misadventures file and started again. Hopefully I will finish it by the weekend. Thanks for sticking with me :D

Okay, add me to the list of Rogan fans addicted to this story. I really love the intense, visceral and complex relationship that you have established here. I'm also very intrigued regarding the mystery of Logan's job, the woman (Mystique?) watching from afar and how it will all play out between Logan and Marie. Jean's feeling of doom has got me worried, but I guess that's because I'm a sucker for a happy ending. Regardless of how it ends, I'm definitely along for the ride!
Author's Response: I'm so glad you are enjoying it. I'm pretty much a sucker for a happy ending too, but as someone wise once pointed out, I do like to make them suffer along the way to the happy ending, so can't promise hearts and flowers for a while yet. Lots of plottiness to come - and fingers crossed, there will be something new to enjoy before the week is out.
