Aw, the heartache! Stupid Logan. Favorite line:
She took in a tight, shuddering little breath, trying hard not to let the tears show. Logan stilling at the sound of it, his form rigid though he kept his back to her.

Author's Response: god bless him, he's not the sharpest sometimes... but we loves him anyway...

"You took the words right out of my mouth, lol" Ha! Right back at ya! :-P

Well, the last two times I posted a response for this story, the WRFA gremlins deleted them. I'm glad you were able to read them before that happened. Hopefully, this one won't get deleted too.

I absolutely loved this chapter. There were many lines that stood out, some of which Serafim already mentioned. I also liked this one: "The wolf stared up at her with those beautiful, lupine hazel eyes and put his head in her lap, resting there as her fingers caressed him." Aww, that is so sweet! I could totally see that in my mind's eye.

And this is going to sound weird, but I liked how you portrayed the animalistic, primal way that Logan showed affection and worry when he licked Stray to make sure she was alright. For some reason, I could totally picture him frantically saying in his human form, "Are you okay, darlin'? Speak to me!" Does that make any sense? The whole scene of Stray attacking Ro to Logan launching himself at Kurt, making sure Stray was okay and then Ro pulling out the arrow was really well done.

And even though it's already been mentioned, I need to point this line out again too:

“There, there,” she murmured, “Poor beast, sweet beast. Don’t be angry my darling, don’t be sad, I’ll not leave you alone in the snow…”

Just awesome!

Another fantastic installment!

...the loss of his nearness tugging at her insides as if something precious were spilling out of her- Wow. Can't get a more emptier feeling than that.

"You think the stench of what you want from me is strong enough to protect you from what I am?” What a bastard thing to say and yet so thrillingly sexy. I could just HEAR Logan's voice there...

“There, there,” she murmured, “Poor beast, sweet beast. Don’t be angry my darling, don’t be sad, I’ll not leave you alone in the snow…”

So beautiful. How could he not fall in love with her? So magical. :)

Again this was a beautifully descriptive chapter. You really make it feel like we’re there, watching from the heart of the action. Jaq’s been trying to teach me patience, YOUR NOT HELPING!! I hate getting to the end, you just love teasing us [or torturing us as the case may be :)] onwards and upwards with the next chapter (I have nothing to bribe you with so I may have to resort to begging and you wouldn’t want to see a grown woman beg its not a pretty sight!

Damn. I really really want to know about this Moonlight Key business.

I love this story and always enjoy seeing it on the most recent page. I am always in such a hurry to find out what happens that I tend to skip sentences on accident the first time through and have to reread the chapter to make sure I didn't miss anything. Not that that is a hardship mind you because you're writing it superb.
