Author's Response: yup, gainsborough because of the blue boy (though i didn't make it up; it's listed as one of nightcrawler's aliases on the marvel website. apparently in the bizarre adventures sehv the oracle calls kurt this every time they meet. it just sounded right, you know? besides, kurt is supposed to be an adventurer in this and it sounds like an adventurer's name... i think... ahem, thanks for the review.

I should have known, nothing in the world of Rogan ever goes to plan, no story is ever complete without its twists and turns but boy do you have to be so bloody good at getting us going and lulling us with a false sense of security before you damn it all to hell? I loved this chapter (ok so I loved them all but that’s beside the point) the first half? Well one particular para (and you know damn well which one) wow! In fact I’ll say it again…...Wow just beautifully done x the second half? Well, hate that I loved it but that’s talent for you and again beautifully done.
Fav – is something we read over and over in the Rogan world yet you make it so different. There’s more emotion and power and you end up with far more effect.

“-As am I,” she whispered.
Hazel eyes met hers. “But not enough to deserve a monster like me.”
Sorry if I’m late with my review but accident involving eyes has meant no reading! Took me a long time but I got through this even if blurred and it was well worth it! Took me even longer to type review but am relying on not having to look at keyboard therefore please excuse mistakes!! x

Oh, you dangled me off a precipice there. I was getting so caught up in the story, the surrealism of it, I forgot for a while that it was Logan. Boneheaded, doesn't know what's good for him, NOBLE bloody Logan. Sigh. (Still loving this!)

His voice was harsh. “So you just crawled into a cave with a savage beast of your own volition?”
And there is this:
“You think me an interesting pet fer a rich man’s daughter, you think me a wonder or a marvel perhaps.” He pushed his hips aggressively into hers, the movement feeling like a taunt, an insult. His grip on her was starting to hurt. “I don’t want a woman who’s only taking me because my fur allows her touch,” he hissed. “I don’t want a woman who looks on her own injury as if it were a game. I don’t want a child dressed up in her mother’s clothing, now matter how much she throws herself at me-”
But he still is so heartbreaking in response to her declaring being cursed as well:

Can you just stop functioning in your real life and just focus on writing? Really. Because that is what you have been created to do. Simple as that. I will feed you, house you as long as you continuously write. K? :)

Oh my Gosh, I LOVE this! When I first started reading, I really wasnt sure what the hell I was getting into, but it kept drawing me in. You have mesmerized me with your ability to weave a story. I adore it, and cannot wait to read more chapters!! Please keep it going!

I feel for Logan and Stray so much in this fic. Their confusion and struggles really leap off the screen and into my head. I always love seeing this on the most recent page.
