Okay so I am not completely sure who just grabbed Stray. I love the idea that it was the Phoenix that wanted Logan or that Logan was interested in (at one time) and not Jean. The gold feathers were really cool and your descriptions of that enchanted were really compelling.
One question, was it Shaw who attacked Stray? That is who I thought it was but when Gold made the comment about her pet I started to wonder?
Author's Response: hey hun, glad you enjoyed the last chapter. i have this theory (completely film-cannon based) that the phoenix and the wolverine were the two really attracted to one another; two people's collective ids were trying to get it on rather than the whole love-that-spans-the-ages notion. If that's the case then it stands to reason that the phoenix would be interested in the wolverine- or in this story's case- his inner beast. as for who attacked stray, this chapter answers that very question- and hopefully poses some others. so i hope you enjoy it :-) oh, and don't worry. Logan's not far away...

Aw poor Stray. My heart goes out to her. Who stole her away and why? I hope Logan finds her and they work things out. Sigh... Keep up the great work!
Author's Response: don't worry, i ain't done with logan and stray yet. there's just some other suffering i have to put the poor girl through- man, i can be a cruel author... but on the other hand i plan on rewarding them both with a really good sex scene so hopefully they'll forgive. thanks for the review

Wow, Gold does love her petty torments. Plague-bitch is too nice of a name for her without a doubt!
Poor Stray, that was one memory she really didn't need to experience! Her sadness and pain was palpable. I don't think her being teleported away bodes well either. Red hands = Azazel?
Okay Logan you need to find your girl, make sure she's safe and let her know how you feel. Hell, show her how you feel, damn it!
I can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: as mentioned in the new chapter, the WRFA gremlins are hiding one of my reviews: it appears in the review count but i can't actually read it. teasing gits! am starting to feel that blaming gold on stray's problems when i'm the writer isn't very fair... but then, i suppose without the torture there would be no story. As for your guess about the identity of stray's kidnapper: good work. And i must say i agree with your advice to logan. the poor man just has to wait a little longer. thanks for the review and hobbits away, hey!
