Barely Legal Since 2000
Absolutely chilling. I mean it! *shivers*
Ok, I'm speechless.
Seriously? Really?
I promise to wait on the cold shower until the next update. If I can't you'll find me out dancing in the rain tonight. That was so hot... Can't hardly wait for more!
Author's Response: Hope you found the next update...satisfying. ;-) So glad you liked it...thanks for reviewing!
Holy crap woman, you are a freaking master mind...Im loving where this is going, its been a while since I have read a good, involved story line.
Love, love, love this. More please :)
Author's Response: Yay! You're still around! Hopefully that means there's more of "The Waiting" forthcoming? Pretty please? ;-) Thanks for the review!
Crap, sorry hun I did not see your response to my first review.
Usually horses are only kept stallions in the event that they are being shown or are of breeding quality. So its more likely to be a mare or gelding...in a responsible situation at least lol.
Author's Response: Thanks for the correction! I did have the thought that Shaw might be a little too tied to his ideas of masculinity to have his stallions gelded, but I think you're right. I want him to be pretty even-tempered. Thanks so much for your advice!
You have no idea how giddy I got when I saw this update, and you did not disappoint!
I loved it, and I feel horrible about nitpicking the horse thing lol.
Author's Response: Argh, don't feel guilty about nitpicking, I've been waiting anxiously for your answer so I can correct it! Seriously, should it be mare or gelding? *Please* let me know! Thanks for the review. So glad I made you giddy. ;-)
Great story! I posted before but deleted it because I used the wrong punctuation and it sounded stupid, lol! I cant wait for more as always : )
Author's Response: Thanks so much for reviewing -- twice, no less!
My only complaint, as an equestrian is the over use of stallions in stories...but thats beside the point and just me being anal...
Loved it, and Im hoping you will once again not be able to keep us waiting :)
Author's Response: Ha...I almost put in a disclaimer that I know bugger-all about horseback riding except what I've picked up from Dick Francis novels, and of course they don't tend to "fix" racehorses. Would it be more likely to be a gelding, then, or would she be riding the mare? I'm happy to change it. Please also let me know if I got any of the other lingo wrong. I Googled for a long time trying to figure out if there was a different word for those little half-doors on the stalls. ;-)
Okay, I admit it. I squealed in a rather embarassing, fangirl-esque way when I saw that you had posted a new story.
And it hasn't disappointed. I really love the intro. Can't wait to see where you go from here
Author's Response: There's no embarrassment in a fangirl squeal! I'm so glad that you like my stories, and that this one caught you. I promise it gets more Rogan-y from here on out. ;-)
Yayeeeee. I still haven't read most of your already-completed stories, but this was an interesting start and I definitely look forward to following along as you write it. And I'll get around to those other stories too, someday, lol. Nice to see the First Class mutants brought in. I look forward to seeing what you do with them.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for reviewing! I have no problems with you not reading my prior stuff if that's what keeps you updating "Feral." It is an awesome fic, and I do a little happy dance every time there's a new chapter. I'm glad you like the mash-up of First Class mutants with the X-Men from the other movies. There's some issues with age there, but what the heck. If Mystique turns out to be smokin' hot at 60, everyone has an excuse for not aging, right? Besides, AU covers all manner of sins.
hey, consider me in. just interested in the stakes here... loved shaw in x-men first class BYW, can't wait to see what you do to him... hobbits away, hey!
Author's Response: Yay! Glad you're on board. Yeah, Shaw is a good villain, isn't he? Plus I'm too lazy to make up my own villains, and I've already run through both Stryker and Magneto...
Every time I see something from you on the most recent page I do a little happy dance because I know I'm in for an awesome ride. This looks very promising and I can't wait to find out what happens.
Author's Response: Aw, thanks so much! I was so excited to see your fic up and running again. :-D I can promise Rogan interaction in the next few chapters at least...
Love it!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for reviewing!
I can only think of one person who could smell that way...
more please
Author's Response: You may be right. ;-) You'll definitely get more soon (maybe tomorrow or the next day), I went on a streak today and I think I've finished up chapter three. I keep trying to follow Sahara's advice to stay a few chapters ahead and it definitely makes for a better story if I can go back and add clues for what's to come into previous chapters before they go live, but I just can't hold out. I want to know what you guys think. :-D
Ohhhh. Lovely, gripping start, slinking into an oh-so-promising finish to the chapter. Have a horrible feeling I know what SS is collecting mutants for :( Poor Rogue. Will be waiting for the next with bated breath ... great to see your name up there again.
Author's Response: Glad you liked the start! It felt a little clunky when I was writing it. I'll be interested to see if your theory about what Sebastian is up to turns out to be the same as mine. :-D
Exceptionally well-written. Riveting, in fact. I'm in... --Wendie
Author's Response: Thanks so much! So glad to have you on board!
***jumps in the air and clicks heels together***
Another great story in the works, I see! Giddy, trembly, all sort of good stuff happening on my end, and you - as always - do not disappoint!
sunshine and rain and sweet grass
Well, well, well, wonder who THAT could be? :)
Author's Response: Yay! Thanks so much for reviewing. Yeah, I actually tried to think of a new scent for Marie...kept adding and deleting, and then finally, I was like, "Screw it, it's midnight, she's going to smell the same as in the last few stories." ;-)
Oh, very nice. Intrigued so far. :)
Author's Response: I'm so glad you're liking it! Thanks so much for reviewing.
Jean missing, Logan undercover surrounded by dangerous enemies and an elusive, mysterious Marie? Count me in!
Oh, and a lot of set-up is good. ;)
Author's Response: I'm so glad you're liking it! Usually I write fics because the first chapter kind of gets in my head and won't leave until I write it down. This one is a little different, it's events in the middle chapters that caught my attention, and then I had to back up and set it all up. So, I'm really glad to hear that this chapter worked, it didn't come so easy. ;-)
Ooh, hey, I've been wondering when or if someone was going to bring in First Class. This is very intriguing and I'm eager to see more. It's always great to see your name pop up on the Most Recent page; I know it means something good is coming.
BTW, I noticed one tiny mistake:
“But why you?,” Hank asked.
That comma shouldn't be there. :)
Author's Response: LOL, you would not believe how many times I put that comma in, and then took it out again, and then put it in again, and then took it out again. ;-) I should have just looked up the rule already. What can I say, it was midnight. Thanks for the correction! Yeah, I'm going a little AU with First Class, pretty much just moving all those good villains into the present timeline. It would work for Shaw, but I wanted Emma too and didn't have the time and energy to make up new henchmen, so there ya go. ;-) Thanks so much for reviewing!
