So glad you decided to continue with this. I think this was the best chapter yet. Feels like Marie really grew as a character, and I am still loving your characterization of Victor.
As for Jean, we shall see *eyebrow raise*. But I'm glad Logan's brought in some help. Here's hoping he gets his chance to kick some ass =D

Hooray! Rescue is on its way. I always like when Logan and Remy are friends, for some reason. And interesting to see Victor's reaction, I wonder which side he's going to come down on in the end. Keep writing...as long as it's still fun for you!
Author's Response: The block's aren't fun but when I can get past them, it's great. I do love Logan and Remy as buddies - I've always had a soft spot for the Cajun (I've got a Jubilee/Remy piece at ff.net). I've got lots of ideas now, I only need to get them crafted the right way. Considering Marie's training, I'm half expecting the cavalry to arrive and find her sauntering out Magneto's front door. Glad to read the update, and I hope your writer's block goes away.

ohhh its all coming together now. I love this story! I kinda like that Victor has a thing for Marie. Its sweet. Love Logan for being frantic to save her. I can't wait for the next chapter! Update soon!!!
