Her body molded against his and it so completely occupied the animal within him back that it wasn’t until the third time he felt her push his hand forward did he realize what she wanted.
***She is so scared. Aww***

“Logan,” Jean reached out with her mind, scanning him. He growled at her, annoyed that she’d do it in the first place instead of just talking to him. An exasperated sigh escaped her lips, but her eyes narrowed on him. “What’s with the claws?”

He shrugged. “Makes her feel better.” He saw Jeans refocus her attention, settle it on a place behind him. Before he could open his mouth t say speak, Marie screamed. ***Hate Jean. Love Logan. Poor Marie!***

Author's Response: Jean is a little hoity toity in this one. :) I loved making this Marie!

You might like Jean but Not me. lol I never liked her. I always love with the story makes her a bitch. lol. That being said, LOL on Marie and her need to have Logan threaten to claw everyone. And uh-oh, Jean causing Marie pain or distress is NOT a good way to introduce her to the x-men. Reminds me of the Eighteen series by Terri when Marie looses her memory and then Jean causes her injury by trying to get into her head. Anyway, Love the chapter! Update soon!!!

Author's Response: I don't think I read that far into the eighteen series. But I might have. I have issues with amnesia fics. It's not the amnesia itself, it's the pain that it causes those left behind who know. Jean is going to come across as... she can't help helping despite if it causes problems or not, because it's still helping. I can enjoy Jean as a bitch as much as the next fangirl, but I think she suffers from her Comic persona much worse than Logan does. If you look to an authors note below this one, two I think, I wrote a rant-book on the comic verse and how I think that effects them in the movie-verse.

Thanks for reviewing though. I'm glad you're enjoying the story.

Well, personally, I can't stand her.

Author's Response: I'm sorry. Remember, this Jean is totally AU. She's madly in love with Scott, lol. *grin* Thanks for reading!

Author's Response: Now now, Jean's just doing her level best to look out for her team. She doesn't know what's going on. Thanks for reading!

Jean is just Jean so she can't help being overly....while something I could never put my finger on but made me not like her, how's that?

Author's Response: See, I've liked her for as long as I remember. I always felt that Logan perused her very aggressively, and that, more than anything (excluding the Phoenix force obviously) was one of the reasons she eventually buckled. Imagine having a man, a handsome, dangerous, sexually attractive powerful man completely opposite of your husband/boyfriend/fiancee trying wanting you every chance he got. Constantly trying to persuade you into giving in to your basest instincts, your wants no matter what your rational mind tells you. One who looks for you at your weakest and tries to manipulate your feelings. Now add to that a reckless alien psychic force, a husband who is sometimes gone for weeks on end, and a healthy sexual appetite. You have Jean and Logan's relationship. A convoluted mess that they tried to add the overtones to in the moves. Logan loves Jean. LOves her so much that it's probably unhealthy. Then we find out that the only reason he was ever attracted to her was because he killed the green eyes red haired girl he first love by accident but doesn't remember it. So he's constantly trying tget her back. I can't believe Rose wasn't in Origins. Brah! I've ranted. That was all comic funk. I feel that Movie-verse Jean is stuck with the stigma of her comic counterpart. But Movie-verse Logan doesn't suffer at all from his Comic persona. So, in short, I like Jean. In comic verse she fought Logan off for years only deciding to admit she had feelings for Logan when Scott was pushing her away after dealing with a very traumatic experience. She told Logan she didn't want to explore her feelings until Scott was better. Then Scott had an emotional/psychic affair with Emma, whose been in love with him for years. It's all crazy. But I think that Jean just can't keep her nose out of others people's business. She convinces herself its ok because she's trying to help, or protect others or whatever. It's her downfall. And now I've written a rant book. Sorry. Thanks for reading!
