Seriously, I was leaning forward towards the screen while reading, so captivating. Good job. What Erik plan will be? And Sabretooth role's? I'm not too sure the Brotherhood is against and not behind this kinf of traffic.
Good luck with your exams, studying is more important than this fan fic, despite what we reviewers couls feel, LOL!
Author's Response: Sorry for the cliffhanger! I really don't do it on purpose...it just seems like a natural stopping-point for the chapter. I'm so glad you liked it. Thanks again for reviewing!

Woah! I've refused to let myself read this, you know, until I finished Sleeping Dogs. It was my own little incentive plan. But I caved, and you've had to take a sabbatical, and WHAT A PLACE TO LEAVE IT!!!!! *breathes*
All the very best for your exams, and may you return refreshed and raring to go. This is a wonderfully gripping story, and it's an interesting take on what Marie might have become left to her own devices. You've written the Wolverine (as opposed to Logan) beautifully, and I'm really enjoying the few twists that make this Logan a shade different to all the other Logan's out there. And kudos for 21 chapters with no smut ... didn't know that was possible :D
Author's Response: Aw, sabbatical sounds like I'm taking a year off. Just two weeks to go! Although I won't argue with an incentive plan for finishing Sleeping Dogs. Pretty please? Thanks so much for your lovely review. And yeah, a smut-free record for me! I'll have to make it especially smutilicious once I manage to get them there to make up for the delay.

OH SHIT SHIT SHIT!!! Sorry about the language, but really???? Charles, where are you??? Marie is going to need you now!!!! And Logan is going to be PISSED and WET – bad combination. I can’t decide if I want Jubilee and Kitty to be on the boat or not. I have a feeling we have multiple problems that will be spinning out of Xavier’s control very quickly. I wonder if Sabertooth is working with Magneto this time or if he is working for the bad guys or if that is all the same thing? Hum, time to go reread.
You are like cliffhanger girl with this one aren't you? It's not bad; it is just the required rhythm for the story.
Go study for your boards! (Maybe I will try to get the new chapter of “Everything” out while you are studying so it will be waiting for you when you get back. It currently is sitting at around 12k words so I really probably need to find a break somewhere. )
Author's Response: LOL...I love the idea of Logan being equally mad about being wet as being near-drowned. By the way, where's that chapter you promised me? You have two weeks left. :-D And yes, you've got to find a break sometime soon...12k is a loooong chapter!
