I just wanted to say that I truly loved the story overall but I have to say both Jubilee and Wolverine got way to easy reaction wise. Though for the most part I liked the characterization of Rogue but I think pregnant or not she would've ripped Jubes a new one. Somethings you don't do sleeping with the guy your best friend (who has poisonous) skin is in love with comes at the top of that list. There is no way a true friend can listen to you grieve other your unattainable love then find herself sex him up. The fact that Jubes did behind Rogues back proves she knew what she was doing was wrong which in my eyes makes her an even less of a friend.

As for Logan I don't see falling for Jubes especially since in the beginning he knew about Rogues feelings for him. Jean yes Jubes no. I think Logan has a few more layers to his character than and understanding of Rogue to think she would be able to live with him "dating" one of her friends.

I think a squeal would be in order for no other reason but to redeem Logan

Hi!

I saw that this didn't have any feedback and thought it was a shame. Though it's not a perfect story, there's a lot to like about this fic.

First of all, I love the length. There's nothing like sinking into a good long fic, and I don't mind that there aren't chapters - those can be more irritating at times than anything.

There is some decent writing here for sure. You didn't rush anything or drag things out too horribly, which is a great skill. And while some of the prose could use polishing, it's written well and that goes a long way.

I think my main problem lies in the characterization. Marie is actually very good - I believe she would forgive Jubilee and stay until Logan left. I believe her helping afterward. Everything she did rang very true to me. No, my main problem is Jubilee. I'm sorry, no real friend sleeps with the guy her best friend is in love with. It's a trashy thing to do, and starting a story with the premise that this happened and Jubilee doesn't even feel very sorry about it automatically makes it a weak premise. Logan, I can kind of buy in this story, but Jubilee? Nope. Don't buy it at all, and that lack of a root in the characterization makes a lot of what happens after seem false.

Don't get me wrong - I get that life is messy and stuff happens. And like I said earlier, there are some really good parts of this story - I love your Marie for sure. But the basic premise just didn't ring true as something that a real friend would do. At least, no one I would want to be friends with.
