Another great chapter. I think my favorite part is when she's trying to figure out what kind of animal the carcasses are. :) I would have no clue! Thanks for the quick update and keep them coming!
Author's Response: Yeah. It was funny, I had this scene in mind pretty much from the time I thought of the story concept. The badger stuff just came up spur of the moment. So while I was writing this chapter Syrin was reading it and was like, "NO! He killed the badgers!?" i hadn't even thought of that. True enough, without their skin who knows what a bunny looks like? Aw, Marie's not the only one with a swell of emotion choking her throat at the end of this. That was very nice. I think Logan put together more words at once in that interchange than he has in his entire three years of remembered life! :D me likie!!!
Author's Response: Aw, glad you liked it! It's the ultimate compliment to know that I choked you up a little bit too. Yeah, I keep going back over Logan's dialogue, trying to cut it down more more, but at a certain point if it's TOO curt he just sounds like he's being an asshole. We'll just say that Marie is drawing it out of him. Thanks for reviewing!
