:D this was great! I hope you're feeling much better now!
Really enjoyed these two chapters. The tender moments, and how they are opening themselves up to each other, and yet how they always seem to instantly assume the worst when either one of them pulls back or says something lol! The bodies are trusting each other but the minds are still stuck in the habits of a lifetime. I really liked your take on how Bobby's constant nerves made Marie's nerves a hundred times worse. It became a self-fulfilling prophesy with those two. Thank goodness she found someone infinitely better for her >:D
Author's Response: Ugh, I keep hoping this damn chest cold is on its way out, but I'm on week 3 and it's hanging around. Bleargh. But reviews cheer me up tremendously! ;-) Yes, you're so right about these two. They both know to trust each other implicitly, and yet their insecurities are lurking so close to the surface. And yes, we can all send up a big cheer that Rogue and Bobby didn't work out. Seriously, is there a single Bobby/Rogue fanfic? What would they even be -- Robby? Bogue? :-)

I failed to see the weird. However, I did catch the part where this is my favorite chapter so far! I have often thought of, and enjoyed reading the few fics that suggest that Wolverine's claws are an erogenous zone. How hot is that? And what Marie said to him about them, that totally sums it up. Hes ashamed of them, but we love him for them. 11 stars for you on this one. Now excuse me while I re-read that chapter a few dozen times. ;)

This is so sweet. The whole story feels like you taped a bit of paper reading "safe and warm" up to your monitor. Not that you overuse the words, but rather that those things are such a theme here.
Author's Response: Ha, I *definitely* overuse warm. I try to go back over my stuff, making sure I don't have it in there too often, but it sneaks in there anyway. I'm one of those people who is always freezing, so there's nothing like a warm snuggle. ;-) Thanks for reviewing!

I really love this Logan with his sense of vulnerability and his implacable commitment to Marie. Can't wait for another chapter!
Author's Response: Glad to oblige. You can thank my toddler for his usual 6:30 wake-up. He doesn't know the meaning of Saturday. ;-) So glad you're liking this Logan. I worried that making him very laconic would make him hard to connect with as a character, but in the end he has so many inner monologues it hardly matters that he rarely says stuff out loud. :-D

It's so nice to see them slowly getting out of their shells. Not to mention swooningly sweet.
It strikes me as amusing that Logan comes off so easy and so well in boyfriend comparison. Not to disparage Logan, definitely no, but almost everyone could outshine Bobby.
Author's Response: Yeah, I felt bad trash-talking Bobby so much, but in truth, he was just a kid. He's probably grown since then, but at the time I can believe he was pretty much scared stupid of having the life sucked from him. I'm trying hard not to make Logan unrealistically awesome, because he surely doesn't have much relationship experience, but his ability to say what he means has already been established, and I can see how that would be really reassuring to Marie.
