The shift to Logan is unexpected but fitting considering he did the actual time traveling.
It was great looking into his head and look at Marie and the whole dark future timeline from his perspective.
Absolute great that he finally came to his sense
Good to see he is still is smug self.
The jumping back and forth felt a bit like rambling, but then I got to the end and realized his is kinda just letting his thoughts wander after making love with Marie. From there it made complete sense that his initial thought would be about his first night together with Marie, and meander around back to where he is now.
Wouldn't normally think Logan was up to such a degree of introspection, but I think he as due for one, after all the time traveling.
Getting better and better.

I really wanted to show some of the story from Logan's POV, so I thought that right after the time travel would be perfect. I definitely wanted Logan to come to his senses right after the time travel; for one, it was my own wishful thinking after seeing the Rogue Cut, and two, I felt like if Logan was given a second chance, he would do some things differently.
rnGlad you enjoyed Logan's smugness; I think that's one of his more charming personality traits.
rnI did jump back and forth on purpose, because I wanted it to have a sense of Logan's wandering thoughts, rather than just doing a big chronilogical exposition of everything that happened once he woke up. I also wanted the reader to feel a little bit of disorientation, kind of like we are waking up to a new timeline as well and are getting our bearings.
rnI think Logan may not be a man of many words, and maybe he does go more by instinct, but you are right, after all the time traveling, and the hardships he has had to endure and losing people he cared about, he has evolved into a more introspective person.

Good to know Logan knows what he has now. Doesn't mean he won't screw it up! Damn, why am I so sure it'll be him? Hope there will be a bit more quiet before whatever storm is coming for them. Really enjoyed this chapter!

Logan knows what he has now, and he'll do anything to hold onto her. But, not gonna lie, they are going to have some things to work out. Wish I could say more, but I don't want to give anything away!! :)
