That was good. I'm usually not a fan of cheaters (at all, actually. Ew), but to me it's just so clear that these two belong together. I'm glad Marie's gonna end it with Remy (though she should have done that first). But things happen I suppose. This line was so amazingly perfect:
Fate or the gods or the truckers in Laughlin gave him to her...
Also the whole "Is this wrong?" "No." "Then it must be right."

Interesting, the way you bring out his animal-tendencies, but not in the usual obvious way. I was also intrigued by the way there was no development - one day they weren't together, and the next they were - but I was even more fascinated by the way it just worked. While unexpected, it wasn't really particularly out of character. It was just there, the way their feelings for each other always have been for anyone who cared to look.
Kudos. Seriously.

As caveman as that sounds, it still makes me swoon! DAMN!! Us women will never get a fair and even shake with men if we keep letting them get to us with romantically prehistoric crud like this that makes our stomach knot up and our feet turn to jelly!!
But then, aw hell............IT'S LOGAN!!!!!
