The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
OK, I get that this is supposted to be angsty and depressing and sad, but I don't think the author thought this through. If Logan can have active viruses in his body that don't affect him but can be passed on to others, then he would be leaving a swath of dead bodies behind him without ever popping his claws. He's over 180 years old, which means he's been in contact with all sorts of diseases that most of us haven't even heard of. He would have killed Marie by exposing her (and everyone else at the school) to small pox or the 1918 bird flu long before she would have had a chance to get HIV.
That being said, this is a well written story, even though the primise is unlikely.
Okay, that was just plain depressing. Not that it wasn't plausible or logical, but it was mighty depressing. Not just a mite, mighty. And so very sad.
It's just damning somehow that it's also well-written. I hope to whatever gods there are that you weren't writing from personal experience.
Much love,
Melanie

Everytime I read this story my face springs a leak.

Wow.....I mean....just...wow! I've often thought along these lines, in regards to Logan's healing abilities...Bravo for having the guts to put it right out there. Loved it!
