'Sit. The fuck. Back. Down.
...Bub.'
Just brilliant! I couldn't help it, I was feeling sorry for the therapist at this point!
and then the whole line that included 'but the rippin of my underwear was all down to him.' had me in hysterics. also loved that she told Bobby as soon as she got home, well almost!
Hehe I'm sure nothing that happened was Marie's fault *giggles*
Author's Response: Heh heh - well who could blame her with Logan around *g*
This is a great idea, a therapy session as soliloquy. If I might offer a suggestion: to indicate a regional accent, use just a couple phonetic spellings in the first few sentences, then only occasionally after that, otherwise it gets distracting. (ref. Steinbeck's "Grapes of Wrath" for how he shows "Okie" accents.)
Author's Response: Thanks, that's good advice. I tend to shy away from using her accent because of that very reason, but in this case I wanted to base Rogue on her comic book character, and therefore tried to incorporate her comic accent. Still, I agree, it does make it somewhat awkward to read! I shall bear your words of wisdom in mind *g*
hahaha I loved this one as much as I did Logan on the couch. Rogue was absolutely perfect - I can really see her getting up and leavin'. Heck with Logan at home I'd get up and leave to. Great job.
Author's Response: Yep me too! Hell, with Logan at home, I probably wouldn't have gone in the first place *g*
Thanks :o)
WOW i need a man as talented as logan aparently is! Very good story!
Author's Response: Don't we all *g*! Thanks :o)
Awesome. The first paragraph alone cracks me up every time.
How about a 'Bobby on the Couch'? That boy has issues...
Author's Response: Hmmmm I could be tempted...*g* I hadn't planned to do any more of these, but bunnies will be bunnies *g* and I might just have a few sneaky ideas up my sleeve... :o)
Hahaha...this is one of my all time stories. Everytime I read it I'm grinning like a fool for hours and my hubby's going what's up? Great work!
Author's Response: *g* Thank you. Feisty Rogue is always fun to write :o) Wooo! *hugs for my first new-look wrfa review!*
