I never read the X-Men comics, but I was an avid watcher of the 1990 cartoons with Jubilee and Wolverine and Gambit and Rogue, back then I never would've thought of Wolverine and Rogue together...and then the movies came out I thought...well, hello. They have some major chemistry going on. But it wasn't until recently that I found this wonderful cite and started reading all the amazing authors on here and now I'm only slightly obsessed and trying to find my bearings in this fandom.

I've been writing fic since before I knew there was a place to post it online...since before, well, let's put it this way: since before Windows first came out and we didn't have a home computer. (It started with Barbie...hey, I was 9.)

My most famous works have been in the X-Files fandom (way before Dogett came on the scene) and in Inuyasha. Most recently, I have been having a ball in the Teen Titans fandom.

I dabble a bit in humorous fics, but I wouldn't say I'm known for them. I'm a romantic at heart, so even my angst-fests will have romantic elements, even if they are not resolved happily. I personally think I do Angst best. Plots...eh, my muse is a little flippant about plots. I'm more of a character-writer.

I have been doing this writing bit long enough (and I'm old enough, although hellhounds couldn't get me to tell you my age) to take constructive critique with grace and humility, and to welcome it for the benefits it always provides. So, please, critique me!

In real life, I'm a relatively new lawyer (that should reveal something of my age, huh?) so I don't always have time to update regularly.

Let's see...anything else?

Oh yes: if anyone wants to be a beta and thinks I'm not too hopeless from my first offering, I'd appreciate another pair of eyes to look for grammar stuff I might've missed (me and commas just never get along and run-on-sentences love me so much they sneak up on me), as well as plot holes (see above, re: absent-minded muse) and characterizations, since I am new here.

Well, that's it, I suppose. I look forward to meeting you all!
