Author's Response: Thank you! This one has been a year in the making. I already have the next two chapter written and will post soon. I think this is actually the one i am most proud of.

First alesia, i would like to commend on your superb writing skills; you have a very compelling way of portraying the dynamics of both characters and in an engaging way too. that is truly amazing given the fact that I've been throwing a fit coz logan is treating rogue like someone who does not have sense or an idiot. Having said that, i think logan is in for a rude awakening. why?

1. lets not forget that rogue is one of the few most powerful mutants who is capable of killing logan. so should she fill that there is no need for logan's "protection", she has the power but figuratively and literally to just walk away. The way i see it, rogue is the one who is using logan rather than him her. He may be deluding himself that he is the one who is dominating but i think is/has started seeing that the is a spark there (we all know that a spark in a room full of gas is all u need to create an explosion). i just saying that rogue seems like she is just bidding her time to heal from her traumatic experience in the lab bcoz just think of it; psychological we are all programmed to survival and right now given rogues situation were she has no alternative, she is been smart to stick with someone capable of satisfying her basic needs (food, safety, shelter and sex) plus she doesn't necessarily need to do much in return (symbiotic).

2. Given the state of her powers, rogue has felt incomplete coz of her inability to touch. Now she can, she is using it to her satisfaction. Rogue is quite a good judge of character and perceptive that’s why I think one of the minor reasons she consented to this idea of being owned by logan not to mention her slight attraction to him.

3. logan is a self assured dick who things just bcoz he heals and has enhanced senses that he can intermediate and impose his will on every/anyone and they conform to him. I don’t think so. I'm sure he will come to realize that rogue is called 'rogue' for a reason. I just get the feeling that she is purposely agreeing to certain things (rules can be bent and twisted just like in chapter 4 'bout the shower). I feel this is also away to stay on his good side and keep in on a kind of leash.

Last but not least she has not told him her powers yet right? I have a feeling its bcoz she has a suspicion that he is with holding information from her and she he ask she would likely tell him only one aspect of her powers (personality and mutation absorption) without mentioning the memories, thoughts, emotions and life aspect bcoz she would still want to have something at her disposal so as to not be caught unawares by anyone including logan. All in all, in my opinion, rogue is the PASSIVE Manipulator while logan just having Alpha male complex. (LOL)

Author's Response: Natsuki - WOW!! What wonderful feedback. You raise some hugely interesting questions and theories. I love it when both reading and reviewing spawn additional theories and ideas. I went back and looked at \"Anything\", which is what starts this story. I am going to have to think about how much Marie really told Logan about her mutation. It is certainly an intreguing idea. At this point I am not sure Marie knows that she has the ability and inner strength to be a Rogue.

loved it. now logsn has Major competition and know victor he may have real feels for rogue and rogue him. she may even end up telling him her real name which will drive logan off the wazoo. (insert evil laugh here)

why do i get the feeling that jean will do something stupid? this is the worst way for logan to keep rogues trust well aleast he broke the bet before sleeping with her. Oh and congrats on your wedding. just remember this is another stepping stone in your life, i wish you the best of it.

i'd say keep their relationships as it is let them explore it more rather than just jumping into the smutt. that is basicly making rogue cheap which she is not

Author's Response: That\'s what I was thinking, too. I mean, yeah, she had her fling because she finally could and she was curious, but now that it\'s serious, I think she should take her time. The Rogue in my head agrees with me, so that\'s probably what will happen.

wouldn't go so far to call jean a whore bcoz logan is a whore himself. if he
hadn't been pushing with his flirtation
this would not have escalated as it did. all i'm saying is that they are
both at fault. He shouldn't have flirted with rogue and lead her on then
go sex up with jean. And jean should have broken up with scott and waited a
month or 3 weeks b4 getting with logan.
but overall i love the bitchy rogue who
has a controlled outward appearance.

Anami-san, i think Logan too needs to be tortured; not just Dr. Grey bcoz like i said b4 he instigated this whole mess
