The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
Oh MAN! So excellent. The interaction with Logan and Marie was heartbreaking. I love that she's so strong and capable and ready to kick Shaw's ass. Fantastic.
Author's Response: So glad you liked it. Yeah, it is so hard to think of these guys possibly losing each other right as they found each other. Lucky thing I promised a happy ending, right? I *know*, how exciting is it to FINALLY have Rogue fully herself and in ass-kicking mode!
“Chuck has her singing Christmas carols right now. It’s pretty festive, actually.”
LOL.
And I did not see that little twist coming at all! Get that healing on board, Logan and then slice Azazel to bits!
Author's Response: :-D I couldn\'t quite find a good way to kill Emma, so I had to torment her at least a little. That line was probably a little too much levity for the general tone of the chapter, but I couldn\'t resist.
Oh, such a happy ending. Loved it, dear. Loved it. :)
Author's Response: I\'m so glad you liked it. Thanks so much for being such an awesome reviewer!
First review, yay! I was all prepared to be mad at you because I didn't want you to leave Feral alone, but now that I see it's a short story, I'm happy.
“Thanks eeeeevvvver so”
I can just see her saying this. :p
Author's Response: Hee. Thanks, first review! :) I didn\'t really expect anyone to review individual chapters. It was just kinda my way of organizing the story into neat, easy to digest snippets. Rest assured, I won\'t abandon Feral. This is just somethin\' I\'ve been writing on the side. Sometimes ya gotta take a step back from intense, half-feral, complicated characters that pull you in a million different directions, ya know? ;P
So good. I thought from the first chapter they might be together already but I like that they aren't. It makes this moment in time for them so sweet.
Lovely.
Author's Response: Thankee :). My first review and my first 5 stars. Quit spoiling me, Katya! (Just kidding . . . spoil me all you like, hah!)
"Loved the contrast, big on small, dark on light, strong on gentle. Hated the calmness, the stillness of him."
Great line.
Author's Response: Isn\'t that just so them? They\'re all about contrasts and contradictions. Fun :)
"Marie accepting him inside her, telling him that all the others had been wrong, that he was good."
Aw. That was just such a heartwrenching line. It feels like it's at the core of who Logan is. The guy who's done horrible but wonderful things and just wants to be good.
Author's Response: Absolutely. He is so the tortured hero *swoon*.
More than enjoyable. It just pegged them so perfectly. Honestly, I mean that. Marie's insecurities around Logan and Logan's wrestling with who he is. That's what makes them such an intriguing couple. Great, great job.
Author's Response: Thanks. I\'m glad the characterizations struck you as genuine. That\'s definitely what I was going for. (Well, really, what else is there to go for in a story that has no plot, LOL.)
That was incredibly sweet. Something I never would have associated with Logan but that I can completely see him doing. Terrific.
Author's Response: Thank you very much for the kind words. Much appreciated.
Oh my gosh, I had no idea your story was deleted! :( Big hugs, dear, I'm so sorry.
Fantastic, fantastic. The memory descriptions, her anguish over Logan, Logan fighting for her...it's perfect.
Author's Response: Thanks Katya. ***accepts hug gratefully***You\'re too sweet!
Don't you just hate those butt biting bunnies? ;)
Great idea, good start. Looking forward to more.
Author's Response: It would have been nice if it left me alone until I finished my epic. But I suspect there\'s a reason a smut bunny bites you in the middle of plottiness. And I\'m betaing an x3 epic for friend (dutchxfan, over at Loganandmarie.com) and that got me thinking I better get this out so that we don\'t cross over too much!
Aw, but done? I think this needs some follow up. Yes, really. ;)
LOL! So cute. I loved it from his point of view.
"Yeah, I have a calendar. Got pictures of landscapes and shit."
That line literally made me laugh out loud.
Author's Response: Thanks. Glad you liked :) I just finished writing some sad scenes in Feral and needed to write something light. Figured I might as well share the fluffy plotless cuteness with the world ;P.
More! It's awesome. The premise, the interactions, everything is pitch perfect. And I have to love a bitchy Jean portrayal. ;) Can't wait for the next chapters!
Author's Response: Ha! I know. I actually like Jean, and have never written her bitchy before, but after seeing everyone else\'s portrayals of her, it was just too fun to pass up. Thanks for reading =)
This is such a great balance of what makes Logan someone we love and think is such a jerk at the same time. You write both of them so well.
Author's Response: Thanks. Glad the characterization of Logan is working for you! Writing from a male perspective is a challenge for me, and I\'m never quite sure if I get it right =/
Totally hot and totally awesome.
"Green was his new favorite color."
Oh, I just bet it will be.
Author's Response: Heh. So glad you enjoyed. Thanks for always being an awesome reviewer, Katya!
Hot, totally hot and sweet and tender and all that. I can't wait to see what Marie thinks!
Author's Response: Aw thanks for the review! I\'m glad you\'re liking the story
Aw, poor Marie. Can't wait to see how these two move forward.
Author's Response: Yeah, poor Marie. Things are about to get a little worse too =/. But moving forward, there will be a happy ending!
And today I'm thankful for these chapters. Awesoooome! Happy Thanksgiving!
Author's Response: Aw thanks! I hope you had a good Thanksgiving too :)
Oh, I have a feeling Jose is in for it.
Love it!
Author's Response: Oh, Jose is definitely a piece of work. Just wait and see.
Holy moly. So intense. Poor Marie. I'm just going to say, "Bye bye, Jose." When Logan gets ahold of him, he'll be in a million pieces.
Author's Response: True that. Jose is going down, hard.
Oh MAN! What a way for them to discover each other's powers. Awesome!
Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m glad you liked. They can definitely stop worrying about the whole mutant issue now :P
Even in her mind, Logan is going to kick some ass. Love it.
Author's Response: Yep. That\'s gotta be Wolverine\'s dream come true. I almost feel bad for Jose--almost.
"Holy shit—is he God? That would make a freaky kinda sense . . ."
LOL. I love what you've done with this. The characters are so perfect and the premise just gets better and better.
Author's Response: Thanks! I felt kinda \'blegh\' about these chapters, because they were all about the logistics of getting Marie and Logan back to New York and (physically) recovered. But they were necessary, and I tried to make them as quick and painless as possible, heh. And really, haven\'t we all suspected that Xavier was God at some point? I mean, c\'mon, he is pretty much omniscient.
Gah! What a great premise! Love, love, love it. Logan finally has competition. You write Rogue and Rogers very well. Can't wait to see what's next!
Author's Response: so happy you\'re enjoying this. don\'t know where the premise came from; was watching the captain america movie and it just occured to me that he\'d be a really good match for rogue. something about how darn nice he is, struck me as the kinda man who wouldn\'t hold her mutation against her. hope you enjoy the new chapter and thanks for the review.
