The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
What? There was nothing logical about that.
I just found this story this morning and I would have read it straight through if I could. I had to stop a few times and that got me cranky, as stopping in the middle of all good stories does!
This is an excellent fanfic. Rogue becomes more awesome than she was in the movies.
I haven't felt any problems with pacing. The story doesn't seem forced and I appreciate that it's captivating without being smut!
Captain America and Rogue, huh? That's unexpected.
Very intense, I hate waiting for the next update!
You tie in all the familiar X-Men really well. They belong together, mutants or no! Great work!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I totally agree with you - the X-peeps are so much better when they\'re all together. ;)
I agree with your ending. I thought in X3 Rogue was pretty lame, running off to get the cure and not supporting the rest of the X-Men. This gives her a much more appropriate role.
Author's Response: *nod* completely agree
I like the Scott/Logan bonding; I wouldn't really expect bonding while drunk to last, but it was good.
If Logan and Rogue get their ending tied up, Scott and Jean should too.
Author's Response: Yeah, I had a couple of different ideas for what the morning would bring, but I\'m not sure if we\'ll actually see any of those scenarios. I mostly liked the idea of Logan being uncharacteristically kind of a caretaker in this scene, because he realizes his actions have brought his friend to this low point. He genuinely does like Scott, and in my mind him taking care of drunken Scott was the way he would show that he is truly sorry for not really considering his feelings earlier during the whole nailing-Jean thing.
I believe I was even more impatient than Logan to hear what was going on!
Author's Response: It was sort of hard to get them to the point, wasn\'t it? : ) Hope you enjoyed!
I'm into it, pity the site isn't working properly!
Can't wait for more!
Author's Response: :-D Thanks for the review!
I'd freak out if somebody left me dead animals hanging on the porch too. Aww, Logan's so sweet, in his unsocial way.
Author's Response: Yeah. Poor guy, he\'s trying, but the romantic gesture got a little lost in translation. Thanks for reviewing!
I want an isolated cabin with a Logan in it...
Author's Response: WORD.
I was checking all day for this chapter! You can really draw me in. I love it!
Author's Response: Aw, that\'s so sweet! i\'m so glad you\'re liking it. Thanks so much for reviewing!
That was pretty awesome.
Author's Response: Yay! Glad you liked it. I wasn\'t quite sure if it was going to come across okay. Thanks for reviewing!
Long chapters are good. :)
Author's Response: :-D I\'ll work on it. Thanks for reviewing!
Rotten cliffhangers...I want more!
I'll be eagerly awaiting updates.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the support!! xD
I'm enjoying trying to picture James McAvoy taking on Logan with this whole 'Charles has a new body' thing going on.
So sweet, and then 'he had drooled on her hair' made me laugh and changed the mood.
Author's Response: Im glad! \r\nDidnt want to keep it too down and dismal :]\r\n\r\nThanks for the review!
I, too, would love some further explanation of how the current situation developed.
Loved it! Touching and sweet and hopeful. I'd read if you wrote more...
Wonderful.
Author's Response: Thank you. :)
