I like all of your stories so far, but this one is particularly stunning. It's angst (which I normally feel a little bummed after reading) but it's also so beautiful, and the way you wrote Logan is just so absolutely perfect. This is my favorite of all the 'Rogue goes insane' type of stories, and I've read a lot of them :)

I really like this! It's a great take on them meeting in another way and it's well-written. My only tiny problem is that it's moving a little slow, which is normally fine except I'm dying for updates! I need to know what happens next :)

The ending was so good I totally "awww"'d out loud! I loved your other series of three too, it was very Dark!Logan but it totally works. I didn't think this was the same kind of Logan, but I like them all! All different and wonderful :)

Author's Response: That Logan wouldn\'t have made such a good father really, he was too ... well a lot of things to be able to care about someone other then Rogue, in fact at times, he acts in ways that made it seem as if he cares more about himself then Rogue. not good father material. i had to tamp him down a lil to make him fit in this story. and i\'m glad you liked them all, i\'m uber pleased with the series so big thanks for reading that too.

This is really cute and a really fun read. I like your take on Rogue being more tough and more of a match than a contrast to Logan. It's kind of a slow start so far but it's really good and I can't wait for more!

It was much darker this chapter, especially finding out some of the horrible things they did to her in the lab. I still like it though, and I'm so anxious for updates lol! I know you can only write as fast as you can manage, but it's so hard when a story is so emotional and tugs at you, I want to find out what happens next so badly I can't be patient very well. :) Great story.

I've been checking almost compulsively since you said it might be up today, and I'm so excited it was! It's a great chapter, and I'm so happy it wasn't as bad as it could have been and that he got her back so quickly! I'm sad it's almost over but also a little relieved that there won't be anymore cliffhangers!! Great writing as always :) I can't wait to see how you end it.

I think this is a great story, I think it's interesting that Logan seems to truly hate Jean and deeply loves Rogue so that he'd put himself in the middle to protect her. I really like this and I'm dying to find out how this progresses!

Another wonderful chapter. I really like how you retell the same part of the story from both sides, I find it incredibly insightful and I love knowing exactly what they're both thinking at the same exact time. I also love that they keep assuming the wrong thing about the other person, it's so well written.

Fave line: "You wanna hold this for me?" I think I awww'd out loud, it was so sweet!

As always I'm waiting on the edge of my seat for updates :)

It's stunning. Truly stunning. You're such a wonderful writer and have such an evocative way with words. You put together words in new and fresh ways I've never seen before. I love your way of describing things, and this story especially has the power to tug at my heart and make me feel physically distressed by the characters distress. I really like the premise, especially that he's starting to groom her to be his assistant/companion. I also like the flash back/forward, because it feels like we get more information out of it. I like her attitude and his too, it's a different take on things, and I especially like the older/wiser Rogue vs. the younger/naive Rouge because it shows she's changed and grown up and learned from her past, and matured as a person.

I definitely think this is a great story, and as I've liked all your others, I hope you do decide to continue and finish it! Thanks!

I\'m glad the flash backs worked because I originally had the flashback dialogue it written italics which does make it easier to distinguish past from present, but I had forgotten how to upload it like that. (anyone able to clue me in - PLEASE!) And yes, I also like old Rogue/young Rogue, because ... I get to play with BOTH of them that way. And yes, I will definitely continue AND finish it.

This hurt to read, but in a good way that means as a writer you literally made me feel the emotions of the characters you wrote. I’m so sad for Rogue that Logan turned out to be using her. I think it’s interesting that this is different from other stories I’ve read where he molds her to be his perfect mate in that not only is she not happy about it or accepting of it, but he also wasn’t doing out of a nobler intention or emotion (so far, since more will be revealed as the story goes on of course). I do still really like this proud version of Rogue who’s not willing to be lead around and made into something against her will. I’m a little bummed that I don’t like Logan very much right now but that’s ok, because there are more chapters and more to find out!

I really like how you’ve written Scott too, and I like that it’s different from a lot of other stuff I’ve read. I loved how you sprung on the reader that the team had been out of hiding for a while but Rogue and Wolverine hadn’t noticed, I totally didn’t see that coming!

Author's Response: Keep in mind that we have been inside Rogue\'s head, and not Logan\'s. So we don\'t know his motivations, only her interpretation of them. That said, I also wanted to explore the Logan and Rogue who MIGHT have been, if the X-men hadn\'t come into their lives at that point. So they are much, much darker characters than the norm, and that will probably take us to unfamiliar places. Re the team coming out of hiding, that could as much be continuity error as anything else. I\'m writing without a beta for the first time in a while and that might leave holes!

Every time I think I'm out, you pull me back in! I wish I had the patience to wait until you were finished with posting a story before I read it all whole, because waiting for updates of any my fave authors and stories is a peculiar kind of torture. But I like your stories so much that when I see your name on it I'm too exciting for something new by you that I have to start reading it right away. You shouldn't be stressed or worried about the reception when you submit the start of a new story because your writing is so good and your stories are just amazing.

I’m excited to see how it will turn out and I’m just going to have to suck it up and deal with the fact that real life keeps people from being able to finish and update as quickly as I might like, and that's ok. :) Thanks!
