you gotta feel sorry for Logan in this one - Loved the emotional screaming match when they confronted each other, also loved Scott trying to be the peacemaker. Well done x

I love this fic it's definately one of the best Logan/wolverine internal struggle fics with some wow moments and all built around a good story - must mention the title and the line its taken from which sum up the whole thing for me. great job well done x

After the last two reviews for this story I feel slightly more than ‘ I loved it’ is needed.

The old saying ‘you can’t please all the people all of the time’ comes to mind and where fanfiction is concerned I don’t think you ever could, after all, everyone has there preferences not only on the concept of the story but on the characters too. However at the end of the day it is fiction, and therefore the writer can take the story and the characters in whatever direction they choose. The bottom line for me being that if the story itself is good enough it will carry the characters in whatever direction they have been taken.

I enjoyed reading not only the very descriptive reasons why the girls became who they were and that they overcame it to a certain degree but also that it wasn’t at all the so called ‘normal happy ending way!’ I loved the protection of each other and not just between couples, that the men in this story although still badass and strong kept everything together in the background allowing the girls to heal from the front and I for one had no problem with the girls version of justice or the mens!!

To a certain degree I understand the comment made about repetition - there were a few lines and words that were used more than once but how else do you say rape other than saying rape. I understood their need to tell again and again of their suffering.

We all love L/R which is why we’re on this site and justice was done to them in this story but it was nice to see some of the others having more of a ‘staring role’ Kitty and Jubilee especially. A lot of people try it, not everyone succeeds, sometimes it takes away from the basics of L/M - the same can be said for any new characters added but I think this story had great balance in that respect.

All I can recommend to anyone is read it. I thoroughly enjoyed it - you may or you may not but that could be said for any of the thousands of stories on this site. It is AU, it is dark but it’s also very very good!

Author's Response: Thank you litlen for your heartfelt feedback. \r\n\r\nIndeed the old addage is quite true and something I\'ve learned in the world of writing be it fanfiction or original is that there comes a point when the characters tell you what they want to say. \r\n\r\nFor me Rogue and the girls spoke of their suffering via a medium I use, I didn\'t write it to suit myself. I wanted to make a clear statement about inner strength and courage - and I feel I did that. loved the imagery you portrayed in the fight bar from logan and marie's antics amoungst the violence of the fights to picturing bobby's face at the thought that he actually believed he had a chance only to *see* he never did. Also love the direction you took this fic - showing just how much she would do for him. great job well done x

Another all day reading marathon and yet again it was well worth it. I'm so in to this wonderful story that I skipped over to read rebirth before I read this one (just didn't seem right missing out a bit!) your imagination when writing this must have been off the scale (in a very good way) also notice that there's more but not finished (now you remember how NOT patient I am??). Nearly 365 thousand words – wouldn’t take long to write a few more!!!!!
Had a feeling that it was too easy for Hank and Logan to just call it a day especially after all that happened in the last one but did I miss where Marie found out about that particular romp?

Author's Response: Thanks hon, the arc was a huge one and it took a lot out of me to write it all. Las Vegas Angel is the next installment (as you probably know) and I\'m getting round to finishing all the old fics I have half finished (including that one!).\r\nIn Lupa we get to see a little of the tension that Hanks past brings up and that actually makes Logan question their \'relationship\'. To be betrayed is the biggest sin of all for Logan, to reveal himself (especially the way he has done in Nine Months) and to find out that his \'Family\' (Lupa) had been under Hank\'s care when he was working in a lab....well it came to push and he needed to find out. Marie would *know* through the link they share, he could hide so much but it\'d come out eventually and after the last time when she told him to always ne honest with her....well he\'d have to eventually.\r\n\r\nGlad you like Amber, she\'s a little firecracker, just like her mum and Anne gets a good go in this one to as well as Katherine. Even though she had to pass before she fulfilled her role with Lupa.\r\nIt\'ll all come out in the end with Las Vegas Angel, the odd world they live in isn\'t exactly canon but it makes for interesting writing and reading.
