Oh Dear Lord.
I just cannot wait for what's going to happen next!
My mind says it's going to go like this, even though I know you're not going to do it this way I could totally see it being all
L:So, kid, whatcha been upto?
M: [Is freakishly honest when embarrassed/surprised] ...Transforming into you via Mystique's powers and finding out that you get 'happy' when your stomach is tickled and men have it really hard when it comes to arousal. No pun intended.
L: o.0 ... Well then...:coughcough:
Keep the great work up!
Author's Response: *lol* love it! L: o.0 ... Well then...:coughcough: If only it were that easy! Believe me, I\'d be grateful. This would be a lot shorter fic! The stupid stubborn characters tend to argue far too much in this one though. Things rarely go that smoothly.
Oh, the fun this could lead to!
And I loved the whole sucking him thing... wait... that didn't come out right... the whole draining him thing. Didn't even cross my mind that she would do that. [Course, as you can probably tell my mind ain't exactly out of the gutter when it comes to L/M]
Oh the fun that could be had in next chapter! Mu-ha-ha-ha-ha! I can't wait to see what's next.
Author's Response: Lol at the sucking him comment! And nobody\'s mind should be out of the gutter when it comes to L/M. The gutter is the perfect place for it I think *g* I\'m gonna try and get the next chapter up tomorrow. It\'s one of my fave chapters *pets it* It was so much fun to write!
Ooooh, I cannot express in words how much a large part of me is hoping for confrontation between Vic and Logan. Both on their past/s and their feelings for Rogue.
And while they're at it, throw in her two choices for goody two shoes, because nothing is better than a four-man brawl over a woman.
Except maybe a five man one. ;D
Author's Response: It\'s going to get juicy, but I have a couple of other things that I need to work through first. But there will be a couple of fights in the future staring the four men in her life. (well, three men and Bobby)
:Fans face:
Oh dear lord.
You've combined all of my dirty little favorite Logan!Fetishes into one dominant demanding man of a beast.
Author's Response: Thanks, I hope I can keep it up. Chapter 2 is alot like this one and almost done. We get to the actual plot in chapter 3.
Gluh.
You did it again.
So much dominant!Logan in one fic, I don't know how you do it, but it's wonderful.
Author's Response: Thank you very much. Let me know what you think of him in Chapter 5.
Yay for the Bitchy!Jean. I've become such a fan of that, and I love the way you've written her as a sort of twisted conniving character, just stringing poor Logan around.
Oh goody! More upset Marie, me thinks. Or at least conflicted Marie. With the way Logan's acting, and how she's got to be confused with everything that's going on, add in the fact that he got pissed because of the shampoo issue, and when he comes back he's pissed as hell. Wooo-Eeeee. That's just going to be a big bucket load of trouble.
And I can't wait for that bucket to tip it's contents over and bathe them in it's angsty-ness.
>:3
Author's Response: Marie has definitely got a long road ahead of her and Logan doesn\'t always make it easy, does he? I am glad you are a fan of bitch!Jean, she just begs to be written that way in my opinion.
D'aaawwwww.
Sad Rogue and now an angsting Wolvie....
How much better could it get! KuKuKuKuKu
Here's to hoping that the story keeps on coming.
Oh, Wow.
I absolutely loved that little bit of Rogue using Wolvie's mutation to her advantage, to send her own little secret message to him, it was so awesome.
I also love how you've presented her wanting to keep her 'control' secret. [I say that in air-quotes because she's only learned to turn it off, she hasn't truly learned to control it per se, she can't turn it back on at will yet, that I know of.] A fair amount of the stories tend to present it as 'she doesn't know if she can really control it or not, and doesn't want to hurt anyone on accident', referring to her wanting to keep secret so that she "[wouldn't be] poked and prodded and studied" was very original. I had never really thought of it that way before, the fact that if she suddenly gained control they would bombard her with questions on the whys and hows of it.
Ending on the ironic note that she's lying to herself, pure genius. I can't wait to see where you go from here.
Oooh, loving how it starts out. And wondering exactly how it's going to progress from here.
Author's Response: i\'m glad you liked the 1st chapter. it shows a kind foundation on which Wolverine tries to become friends with Rogue, which becomes increasingly difficult for a variety of reasons through the following chapters. be prepared, they aren\'t so kind to each other in this story.
D'awwww, almost sweet!Rogue, and almost caring!Logan. But only almost. Because this story is just to damn angsty and adult (and so many other words that I just can't think of), which is just the way I like it.
Author's Response: i hope you like more angst. yeh, i wanted the story to progress from somewhat gentle familiarity to something much darker as Wolverine gets to really know Rogue and how angry she really is, which provokes the raging animal in him.
Holy sh--
The tension between them. It's the type of tension that either turns sexual, or turns one of them into a homicidal murderer. I'm a little frightened to figure out which one it is though... *g*
Author's Response: i don\'t thing chapter 4 solves yours question...i like leaving people guessing as to if they will wind up being happy or miserable around each other!
Oh dear lord. The Guidance Counselors daughter part of me is saying 'This isn't right, you shouldn't be reading nor endorsing anything that portrays such acts.'
The dirty little almost Sub!Pervert in me is relishing this story, saying something along the lines of 'Well, she deserved it. And I mean, really, who wouldn't submit to a man like him.' I have got to stop enjoying dub!Con so much. *g*
Author's Response: heh heh, i know the inner moralist in me also bucked against the idea of this relationship and how disturbed and sick it is, but still smexy!\r\n\r\ni\'m going to write an epilogue which probably makes the question of \"is this a good or bad thing\" even more problematic.
Guughhhhh
So much can come from this. So. Very. Much.
So much anger from both of them. Still not to sure if it's going to end in some sort of slightly happy ending [although, knowing them, there's no such thing as a 'happy ending'] or if someone is going to end up dead.
...
And that's the way I like it. :3
Author's Response: i just had a slightly less evil plot bunny jump onto the one in charge of this story and hump it madly. the result is an idea that just MIGHT make them less god awful, but we\'ll see what unfolds as i write.
D'aaaawwwwww
Love at first... fight...
Yah, not such a witty comment, it sounded better in my head. [Referring to Xaviers and her fight, not R/W]
As always, I love the story, and it's good to just go with the flow of the rabid plot bunnies, they usually know what they're doing.
I love how the relationship is progressing, it's nice to get some confirmation that maybe they won't kill each other... although, that rain check comment has me a little worried, the plot bunnies could make a sick little turn further in the story.
I'm happy at the thought that maybe Rogue will settle her demons a bit, get to see that maybe not she's as diseased and evil as she thinks she is. Letting down the shields can be a good thing.
As always, you're doing a great job with the characters and the plot, and I can't wait to see where it goes from here. The possibilities are endless!
Author's Response: no worries, i have ZERO intention of letting her kill Logan. although another death had struck me as particularly fitting for this story. may not be for a few chapter but it\'ll happen. i was going over NIN lyrics tonight trying to find the right one for the next chapter and 2-3 of them inspired me for ore plot development. so much for my 4 chapters idea! the next chappie will be up Thursday night. i find promising you guys the date of the next update makes me accountable for the deadline LOL!
I absolutely loved this, and not only because I'm an Latin student who happens to sort of specialize in mythology.
You portrayed Marie and Logan wonderfully, and I loved how Bobby acted, he knew that he may love her but someone else loved her as well, someone who she loved back. It's refreshing to see a Bobby who isn't whining or being an ass or dating Kitty.
Author's Response: Thank you! I have a very soft spot for Bobby - he\'s nice and friendly, a person who cares (which made it very possible for me that he didn\'t push things between him and Rogue further when she came back after taking the cure). He\'s filled with the overwhelming wish and need to \"do the right thing\", and that makes him innocent, in a very comforting way. I thought I should give him credit for that. *smiles* Cuthalion
Oh God, all I could think of at that "We have to determine where to house you." line was Xavier plucking a sorting hat out of thin air, and placing it on our dear Wolvie's head. What an odd situation that would have been.
Author's Response: LOL! i guess Xavier is his own kind of sorting hat. and of course Wolverine wouldn\'t fit anywhere...at least not at the expense of anyone unlucky enough to have him as a roommate.
Nnnggggghhhhh
--twitchtwitchtwitch--
Guh, I need more than a cigarette and a beer after reading this, good lord how you could even manage to write it before spontaneously combusting into a pile of goo is beyond me.
Author's Response: LMAO@pile of goo. yeh, i needed a temporary a boyfriend after i finished writing it *sigh*
Wasn't quite sure I would enjoy what I read, despite my hungering for angst and drama, the thought of somebody else with Logan always make me squeamish [well, for keeps at least, quickies and flings don't squick me out].
Good lord was I wrong. This story is shaping up to be quite something, and the thought of a LoganMarieDon sandwich is just oh so good.
I cannot wait for new chapters and new confrontations between the three, and the rest of the XMen. Mwuhahaha
Author's Response: Doesn\'t it just make your toes curl in anticipation? I have longed to be part of a Logan and Marie Sandwich. It might not be the case with this story though. Logan and Donella might go for a threesome but Rogue? Maybe, maybe not.
Was a little worried when I read the first sentence, my imagination was visited by visions of Marie, dead [once again], lo and behold it was only our dear Wolvie.
I'm loving how you have him portrayed, and the bit about angel wings is beautiful. Short sweet and to the point, as they say.
The little snippets of his immediate, well at this point I may not say attraction so much as a friendliness, for Marie are wonderful.
Continue on with your story, and good luck with inspiration. Science is always full of ideas!
I honestly loved the bit about his fantasizing about Jean and him getting caught by Scott. It was lol worthy. Again I enjoy the fact that he isn't so much in love with Marie at this point, he's just attached to her. The easing of his guilt by sending gifts is a good idea as well, and I'd be intrigued to see exactly how Marie would/will react to these little gifts.
Much love, and luck with the story.
Author's Response: Thank you! Cookies and brownies for you.
I absolutely loved the whole banter between InnerWolvie and InnerVictor.
Oh gosh, the daughter thing is gonna lead to trouble, I can sense it.
Or I at least hope it will.
And why doesn't Ben asked why Logan hasn't seemed to age much in 20 some years?
Keep up the great work with the series,
Not usually one to review(Yeah, I know, horrible person.) but good googley moogley. This. Story. There aren't words to describe it.
I've gotta say, I'm a fan of Vic. In this story especially. Vic, bastard that he is, having a soft side of sorts, sending Rogue to Logan even though he knows it'll probably end up with his girl leaving him. And I love to see stories that play up the brother thing, doing it comic style.
It's really good. I cannot wait to read more!
Author's Response: Hey, my first review for chapter one! Let me know what you think of two & three. Especially 2. There\'s\' a whole lot of Vic Creed in it. With a whole lot more to come!
Can't lie. I'm still loving the Victor. You portray this side of him very well, and I can't wait to see more of him.
I'm utterly loving the southern spitfire/belle Marie, and add feral to that mix, and she's just amazing. That scene after the attempted mugging, simply amazing. That scene is sticking with me, the duality of being a lady but sticking up for yourself in a fight.
Author's Response: Thanks! I just hope you guys like chapter three as much!
Oh boy, you make it easy for me to dislike Jean. Granted, that's a given for most W/R shippers. But at the same time, I feel that she's kinda relate-able.
"Jeannie, I love you. I will die loving you. But I'm not going to die from loving you."
I love that line, I think it sums up Logan's feelings really well.
I'm also really loving hearing from Logan's pa, Tom. Having the history from a third, more removed party is definitely good for explanations.
But goodness, I've gotta say that my favorite parts are the making house parts, and the whore in the bedroom parts. That last one probably cause I'm a perv concerning good ol' Wolvie.
Your story is remarkable, and I cannot praise it enough.
Part of me says: "How can he be so mean to her, blah blah blah, whine bitch moan blah"
And then that dark little voice in the back of my head whispers "just think of the hot dirty angry sex that will ensue *g*"
And that voice wins. [Hence why the previous voices argument was soon forgotten]
I think that may make be a wee bit of a horrible person... but oh well.
Author's Response: Not a horrible person ... I will give them a happy ending (I think?) but I do like to make them earn it first ;) I don\'t think that makes me horrible, just ... mischievous!
