ATM I'm just reading. But there are so many good ones on here that when I finish my non-Rogan story, I may have to take on one!

To all my fans, readers, fellow authors, and random people who have found my page;

I was just brutally reminded why I mostly read "Completed" series and why I'm obsessed with writing one story at a time and pushing out the chapters as soon as possible. I just fell in love with 4 stories which haven't been updated in years (some over 4). *slams head against wall* Wish i had the ability to find said authors and either make them finish the story or have them give me the rights so I can finish them. Ugh...I feel like a woman who has fallen in love with a man only to find out he's married and will never leave his wife. >.>

Do me a favor. Do everybody a favor. Finish you're story. Your fans understand things happen. Real life takes precedence and writer's block happens. We know, we've been there too. But there are people out here hanging on your every word and to leave them mid plot is like a man finishing before a woman and then just leaving! (WTF dude? O.o) If real life comes up and you cant post for a while, amend the final chapter you wrote and let your fans know. That little bit of courtesy will go far. Your fans will still be here when you get back and even so new ones! If you have writers block, ask a friend to help. Ask a stranger. Hell, ask me! I will gladly help anybody who comes to me through writers block. Or anything for that matter. Need to bounce ideas off of some one? Can't figure out how to make the scene flow just right? Have an idea in your head but need help getting it started? All this and more I would gladly help you with. Why? Because what you people write, its amazing. AMAZING! There are so many gifted, talented, brilliant people out there. I want to read EVERYTHING! You are my escape from the real world. I need you!

Now, one little thing I should mention. I will not write your story for you. If you have an idea, and don't want to write it, this is different. You are simply sparking my imagination. However, asking me to write scenes for your story? Its. Not. Cool. I will happily help you work through a rough patch but your story is yours. Besides, don't short change yourself. What I write will never be as good as what you write. Why? Because it's your story. You put part of yourself in to every story you write. Let your readers read you, not me. If they want to read me, they can read what I have written.

All this being said, I'm sure I'm not the only one out here who believes this. Everybody is a stranger until you know them. So if you need help, and you're stuck, mail an author that you really enjoy. Unless they're a total bastard, I'm sure they have the same beliefs as me and are willing to give you a few minutes of their day to help out a fellow author. Who knows? They may have been in the exact same predicament as you are. As a matter of fact, I can guarantee it. And I bet they wish they had someone to help them like they'll help you. And they do! They have you now.

So to end my long rant/tirade/speech (don't worry, I'm getting off my soap box now), write. Just write. Finish that wonderful story you have started and share it with the world. Because we are waiting impatiently for it.
