Basically, I can't string something constructive together right now because I'm too emotionally overwhelmed (in a good way).

Let me address the last first -- the last paragraph, that is. Rarely have I read a more beautifully crafted conclusion to a multi-chapter fic. And the very last line literally wraps the title right in with all five chapters. Outstanding.
I love her explanation for what 'the wanting time' was -- their instincts pushing them to break free of the restrictions placed on them, whether by others or by themselves.
You are mine for as long as you want to be. And I’m facing the fact that I’m probably gonna be yours a lot longer than that. He's handing her his heart for eternity, even though he knows there's a chance -- however slim -- that sometime sooner than that she may not want him anymore. And then there's the fact that he will surely outlive her and spend the rest of eternity alone and the wanting time will go on and on and on... Knowing all that, this just might be the bravest thing he's ever done.
If I haven't done it already, this one is going in the faves. --Wendie
Author's Response: I was pretty happy with that conclusion. I actually wrote it before I started the rest of Chapter 5, because I wanted "touch" to be less obvious than most would assume, but wanted to leave that free for the future. And I like wrapping things up, but not tying them in a bow, if you know what I mean. Re Logan's line, I suspect I might have to revisit that at some point in the future. It is a bit tantalising. Author's Response: Sorry if you wanted more, but really, this just started out as some dirty talk, and ended up about four chapters longer than I expected! And I really, really wanted to end it on a happy, resolved note. Glad you enjoyed!

This was a very interesting read and I must say it was pretty hot, too. In my mind I just skipped the age thing and went from there. Nicely handled and decidedly sexy plot.

*happy swoon* I think, like others have said, that this line: "You are mine for as long as you want to be. And I’m facing the fact that I’m probably gonna be yours a lot longer than that." Really sold the entire chapter, and helped make this ending just amazing. So honest, and romantic, and yet I can really hear Logan saying it. Excellent work on this.
Author's Response: Amazing what a throwaway line can do for you. That was a last minute revision when I wanted to up the dialogue factor a little, and make it not just about relinquishing control, but about a decision they make. Since I had already set the feel of the scene, the dialogue just fell into place. Goes to show ... revisions are good!

Hope you are cuddled up with your *men*, SkyblueRae! – not sure if this was a typo or not but all I thought was lucky lucky girl bet she’s having a damn better valentine’s day than everyone else!!

And I’m facing the fact that I’m probably gonna be yours a lot longer than that.” Absolutely love this line, despite the fact that here we have what I class as more realistic, base driven sex/vocab you throw in what has to be the most romantic line! Loved Marie in this chapter, I prefer despite her lack of experience seeing her stronger more mature like this and not so much of a child when it comes to sex as is often depicted. Just for the record you nailed the ending of this too - gold stars all round!

Author's Response: Poor Sky! I didn't mean to defame her character ... she has two men quite legitmately, but one is quite young ;) I did think hard about how to write her sexually, being so young; but if I wrote her as being young in behaviour, then I really wouldn't have been comfortable with that. I also wanted to get across some degree of compulsion ... being pushed beyond usual limits. And I'm very glad you liked the ending ... I wrote it before the beginning of the chapter and was quite fond of it myself ;)

Author's Response: They are fine - Cyclone eased up as it crossed the Divide, so it was "only" Cat 3 when it got to them. Apparently we didn't like those trees, anyway. Just lots of nervous energy expended worrying when I could have been writing. G&T's and Axl are my cures for anything and everything! I need to songfic next, I think ...
